Problems wit PS3.. anybody get this?

Ok i havent touched my ps3 for like a few days, den i turn it on to play some call of duty.

so i load it up, n what you know i get this error or sumthin before the game loads and kicks me back thru the XMB? or whatever u call it main menu.

i try to load it up agen and get the same error, so im ova here thinkin like prolly the cd is just a lil bit dusty or sumthin.. so i take the cd out wipe it off a lil..

no scratches on the cd or anythin. den i pop it in.. the ps3 cant read shit, no game ups .. like it cant read the cd or anythin..


so i try to pop in another ps3 game.. cant read shit... nothing shows up on the menu....


wtf is this? is there some settings someone might have activated or sumthin? shud i return it.. or is there any other way to fix this..

cuz my last resort is bringin it back to bestbuy, fuckin hassle bringing this 500 pound system over there.

^ thanks was looking to see if anybody had the same problem, so im guessing its probably hardware malfunction or something. ill bring it back tomorrow

^hehe yes i bought it back to bestbuy and they said it was one of the most common problems of people who return their ps3.

they gave me another one and told me to shut up.

i left and rushed home and in 15 mins got back to playing cod4.

^haha no everytime i join ur invite it says party no longer available.. n theres no way to msg you...

ima play later around 4-6pm

Or when you put the cartridge in, put an instruction book between the game and the top of the loady thing.
