E-DAWG RETURNS TO THE RAP GAME WITH A NEW SINGLE AND A PARTY TO ANNOUNCE HIS COMING WITH ‘CARS THAT GO BOOM’

February 25, 2011 [Seattle, WA]- Hip-Hop and rap artist, E-Dawg is set to release his new single, “ “ in grand fashion with an official launch party and mixer at Poppa’s Pub to celebrate his recent campaign to return to his position as a relevant veteran in the rap industry.

E-Dawg’s latest single, “Cars That Go Boom” featuring Lady Tasz, updates the ‘80s hit scored by another legendary act, L’Trimm and follows on the heels of his recent singles, “I Dip” and “Rocket Ship” featuring his long-time friend, business collaborator and international Hip-Hop/Rap legend, Sir Mix-A-Lot. It was Sir Mix-A-Lot who played a key role in E-Dawg’s early success with his popular hit, “Drop Top” from 1993’s Seattle …The Dark Side compilation, which Sir Mix-A-Lot released on his Rhyme Cartel label. Rhyme Cartel continues to be a viable company and is supporting E-Dawg’s current efforts. In support of his return to the forefront of Hip-Hop and Rap in the Pacific Northwest region, E-Dawg also collaborated with ‘The World Famous DJ B-Mello (West Coast DJ of The Year)” with his two mix cds, The Plan Before The Retirement Plan Vol. 1 and The Plan Before The Retirement Plan Vol. 2”. “This is what I do and it’s good to be working and recording”, says E-Dawg while hanging out at Ocean Records in Lakewood, WA. “I am putting out material that will make an impact on the game.”

Although the Pacific Northwest is Hip-Hop’s final frontier and largely considered the last untapped region for Hip-Hop in the United States, E-Dawg is one of the few artists from the entire region to make a national impact and with a strong team and business plan he is poised to do it again. With business smarts and his old friend Sir Mix-A-Lot on deck to support his latest efforts as well as a bevy of top-tier DJs, E-Dawg’s program is set for success. He will be celebrating his re-entry into the spotlight of Rap with a party at Poppa’s Pub in Kent, WA on Saturday March 12, 2011. “It’s going to be a great party”, explains E-Dawg. “A lot of special guests and industry tastemakers will be in the house.” Not to mention party people. The party is hosted by two of the country’s best DJs with DJ B-Mello and DJ Roc’Phella controlling the sound.
