I bought the Bose portable ipod dock 5 years ago for $300 and i've never regretted it. I use it for parties, music video shoots, watching movies, etc. It's more than the average person needs, but it's worth the money.
man i remember yall had that at that one shoot in richmond we did and the next day i went out n bought one that that was slappin

UE Boom. It has good sound and battery life. Only reason i never bought one is because the rechargable battery is not removable. I figure over time it will stop holding a charge. Also be careful with the bass. We blew one of these at work slapping it too hard.

The jbl flip is decent as well but doesnt have as much bass.
