I go to this other forum, 5veMics, and some people on there were debating on whether or not Pastor Troy is considered mainstream.

no. had a little taste from which he probably gained alot more insite on how to handle his underground career, which is where he is now and where he should be in my opinion. i mean, it would be nice to hear more from pastor troy on commercial radio...but honestly, i wouldn't get to hear it because i don't listen to commercial radio.

He has had a little taste of mainstream success, but he's not still relevant in mainstream.

Fuck that, I say P. Troy is mainstream just because when he drops something it gets picked up by major outlets. You can find any Pastor album in FYE, Best Buy, etc...

What would make him underground? Muthafuckaz know who he is, you can cop his albums anywhere and he has promo and was getting videos on tv when they played videos. So what makes an artist underground if you can have all those criteria and still be underground?
