What do you think about ouija boards....?
and no they're not a damm toy....
just because they're sold as one..
they're real occult divination tools....

But has anyone here played with one and really talked to any
spirits? and what happened....
most stories i know in real life...
fucked up shit happened...
but some people are helped by the spirts they talk to on the ouija....
what do you think about demonic attacks.. and demon
possesion.. because of the ouija board.....???

So what do you think... are ouija boads a key to the spirit
realm...? or just a harmless game? :siccness:

Personally I think they’re fake as hell. I played on them several times in my days of youth and it was all fun and games. No spirits, no ghosts, no voices, no supernatural activity. Everyone “knows” somebody who supposedly “knows” someone who had a fucked up experience with the Ouija board. If you ever talk to someone who actually says they contacted spirits they are either lying or stupid enough to be fooled by the person or persons they’re playing the game with.

You should read the history of the Ouija board - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouija

I used to hang with a crowd that believed in that, so I would spell out death threats to people using it, hah.. In retrospect, it would also have been hilarious to fake possession as well. But it's really sort of vague unless you can really float 2 feet above the ground, roll your eyes back and speak in tongues. Climbing backwards on the wall like a spider also helps carry over the realism of a possession. Oh and spew pea soup.

In all honesty, (You can take the top paragraph with a grain of salt..), I DO believe in the occult and supernatural things to a degree. To a degree. I am not fully decided on the existence of a soul, or spirit yet. And those are the things ghost are made of. And the ouija board is basically a so-called translator for the dead. I don't think it's that easy to call up grandma using a novelty toy. Like someone else said, they sell them at KB Toys, and if Little Jimmy is raising the dead again at his sleep overs, he'll be in big trouble in the morning. Ever seen Evil Dead, or Evil Dead 2? Yea. Just like those movies.

Now they put poor Bruce Campbell in terrible, made for TV-movies and scifi channel atrocities.. :( I met the man a few years ago when he was doing a book signing for " If Chins Could Kill" and he was in Philly. He looks like someone's crazy uncle up close in person.

That's a thought, actually.

About evil spirits, good spirits, all of that happy slappy junk. I've seen enough movies to know that NO good can ever come from contacting the dead! If we've learned anything, it's that the dead want to harm us. Or rather..the dead who are available. I.E., when you use a form of communication to get in touch with anyone dead, you're going to attract anything that hears. And really, if you're chillin up in heaven and your whiny nephew is trying to summon you, are you gonna go? Hell naw. So who does? Seriously, the spirits trapped on earth for whatever reason are more likely to respond than your granpappy up in yonder. This is, of course, all speculative. If spirits DID exist, what incentive would they have to answer their individual call?

I figure if I were dead and trapped on earth, I'd be fuckin with all kinds of folks every second I could. Hell, I'd be showing up to haunt every last one of the people who've backstabbed me. Scarin' em when they're takin a shower, or sittin on the john. Oh ho ho you'd better believe it.

Better hope that I live forever.

I used one once. Nothing messed up happened but it did trip me out. It said I would die in 2089, and the world would end in 2089 and when we asked it about my friend (who was not using it) when he was gonna die, it kept going to "no". It wouldn't answer. LOL I can't say it's real or not. I sure as hell don't believe I'm gonna live until 2089, that would make me 117 years old. LMAO. It was trippy that it kept going to "no" when we asked when my friend would die.

Not the best story, but that's all I got.

I thought I saw a ghost once. But it was a white plastic grocery bag flying in the wind and it smacked me in the face and almost suffocated me. So I was wrestling with the ghost for a few seconds ( I think I was really tired at this point ) and I felt like a shithead for screaming and running around. It was night and we were out in a graveyard. And I was being all sarcastic. I see this white shit coming at me and I scream. Damn bag...

my female cousin.. used to play with it...
and the message indicator....
would move by itself...
she didn;t have her hands on it.....
she would just ask it.. and tha dam thing would just move...
on it's own...

and she asked the board who she was talking to...
it kept spelling.. E V I L... over and over. really fast...
and then she told it she didn;t wanna play with it anymore...
then that night... things would move on their own in the house....
and lights and things like the tv vcr would turn on and off on their own....

then... one time she asked the board.. who her husband would be..
and where he would be from....
well the board told her.. the name of her husband.. and when they would meet..
and where he would be from.....

but some years after she got married.. her baby died inside her womb...
and then her husband died shortly after....
i guess the board predicted the name.. and where her husband....
would be from....
but didn;t say her baby and husband would shortly die... later....

I think ouija can be real. .if you know how to use them....
most kids probably can;t make them work....
and the ones from toys are us... aren;t that good....

i think it would be better to get one carved by someone...
but who knows...
if magicians.. conjure spirits.. through black mirrors...
and magic triangles.. why not a ouija board..??
i guess it just depends on if someone has the skill to do it or not....

so i don;t think everything will work for everyone...
i think you have to be in tune to the spiritual side to be able to use a ouija...
becuase my cousin could see spirits in her house.....
and i couldn't see them... so maybe she has some 6th sense..
or physic ability that most people don;t have.....
so then that's why she would make the board work... etc...

just what it think...
but yeah.. most people use the board as a game...
but there are people out there that can use it as a tool...

Also there's been times when the message indicator.. flys off the board..
or floats across the room...
i don;t think someone's... sunconsious.. mind.. would do that.....

but yeah one day i'll get serious and try to make one work...
but for now... it stays a mystery....
