Wow, I thought there would be at least one Artest thread. Maybe I scrolled through and missed it, I guess that shows how many Kings fans is on here. Crazy considering this used to be the 91siccness. Anyhow to get to the point was anyone suprised that Artest didn't opt outta his contract and decided to stay for $8.5 million. I mean for sure he coulda got more somewhere else, and everyones been sayin how bad he wants to play in NY or LA. He could still get traded, but at least he didn't leave the Kings with gettin nothin. On the other hand suprising to see Baron Davis opted outta his $17.8 mill. I could see why he did it, but that's a lot of money to blow off. It's kinda funny though everyone thought for sure Artest was gone, and Baron was most likely stayin. Sure caught me off guard.
