spoken like someone whos not a fan of a historic franchise. like it or not what the 49ers did in the past will be remembered and talked about FOREVER. thats what happens when teams become a dynasty, and have some of the greatest players to ever lace em up. but you obviously wouldnt know anything about that being from seattle. we'll stop talking about past championships when Yankee and Laker fans stop talking about theirs. of course this season is what counts the most, but dont try to downplay the 49ers as a franchise, yall aint even close.

Nah, the point he's making is some niner fans eventually always bring up the past rings in an argument, which truthfully means nothing in 2014. Of course history of the franchise is great and those championships mean something in the hearts of fans. But it's lame when discussing this season or whatever and some butthurt dude says Oh yeah well like we have five rings, as if that wins some kind of argument.
