It was nice to see Haralson back on the field! HE STILL GOT IT!

Austin Collie with that nice catch, man..the 49ers should really keep this guy..

Moore and Chad Hall should also stay ..

Kendall Hunter Activated

Kendall Hunter Activated

The San Francisco 49ers are now stronger in the backfield.

Kendall Hunter has been activated from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform List and could join his teammates on the field for Saturday's 49ers Fan Fest at Candlestick Park.

The third-year running back ranked sixth in the NFL last season averaging 5.2 yards per carry before he was placed on Injured Reserve on Nov. 27.

Hunter has been a powerful runner and emerging play-maker for the 49ers. He’s totaled 844 rushing yards and four touchdowns in two seasons. Hunter injured his Achilles in a Week 12 win over the New Orleans Saints and has been relentlessly rehabbing to get back on the field.

Hunter has been sprinting and cutting for most of San Francisco’s offseason program and now it appears as if No. 32 is ready to return to full action.

Seneca Wallace reportedly draws interest from 49ers
Seneca Wallace reportedly draws interest from 49ers - NFL.com

The San Francisco 49ers traded away perhaps the best backup quarterback in football this year in Alex Smith.

The move was necessary, but it has left the team without a comfortable arrangement behind Colin Kaepernick. CSN Bay Area reported Wednesday that the 49ers have shown interest in Seneca Wallace and are expected to visit with the veteran free agent, according to a source.

Colt McCoy entered training camp as the favorite for the backup job, but injury and middling production appears to have opened up the competition. Niners coach Jim Harbaugh said Wednesday that McCoy, Scott Tolzien and rookie B.J. Daniels have received an equal number of snaps during practice this week.

Wallace, 33, is a free agent after being released by the New Orleans Saints this week. Wallace served as McCoy's backup in 2010 and 2011 with the Cleveland Browns. Niners offensive consultant Eric Mangini was the head coach in Cleveland when the Browns drafted McCoy and signed Wallace.

The 49ers probably aren't confident Daniels would sneak through waivers, so his spot should be safe if Wallace comes aboard. The same cannot be said for McCoy and Tolzien, who both appear extremely vulnerable at the moment.
