Night Shield Performing @ This Years NAMMYS & 2 Nominations!
Night Shield has been nominated for 2 Native American Music Awards this year! Night Shield's nominations include Best Male Artist & Best Hip Hop Recording for his 2nd solo album "The Total Package". Released in December of 2005 "The Total Package" featured the hit singles "Anything You Want" & "Roses" and raised the bar for Native Hip Hop & for the South Dakota music scene in general. A perfect blend in underground grittyness and mainstream appeal "The Total Package" was radio accessible while staying in the streets at the same time.
Night Shield has also been selected to perform at this years event! The Native American Music Awards are slated to take place on October 6th in Niagara Falls, NY at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel. Night Shield will be the just 4th Hip Hop artist to ever perform at the awards!! Joining Night Shield on stage will be fellow South Dakota stars, Maniac: The Siouxpernatural & Jackie Bird.
