Foles is pretty darn good, He has a rocket arm. Was very good at AZ, not surprised it translated to the NFL. He will thrive in STL. Good pikcup for them, weird pickup for PHI.
Foles being from UA, of course I want to see him be successful. Yes he is better than me. No he is not pretty darn good. We shall see though as he is better than the girl with the bitch ass acl he was traded for

Knighton signs with Washington

New Raiders coach Jack Del Rio previously praised defensive tackle Terrance Knighton, who played for Del Rio in Denver and in Jacksonville. But Del Rio didn’t sign Knighton once Del Rio got the chance to do so in Oakland.

Instead, Knighton has agreed to terms with Washington, per multiple reports. Knighton told Josina Anderson of ESPN.com that he signed a one-year, $4 million contract.

It’s the first tangible sign that the market has softened to the point that relatively big-name players have begun opting for short-term contracts with a chance to try to get a more lucrative long-term deal in 2016. Knighton is ranked No. 21 on the PFT free agent Hot 100.

A third-round pick in 2009, Knighton started 16 games in 2014 and 2013, his only two seasons in Denver. He became a full-time starter as a rookie in Jacksonville, under Del Rio.

LB Akeem Ayers to join Rams

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Rams landed their first outside free agent of the offseason Thursday night, signing former New England Patriots linebacker Akeem Ayers to a two-year contract.

Although Rams coach Jeff Fisher was gone from Tennessee when the Titans drafted Ayers in 2011, there are a couple of coaches on the St. Louis staff that are familiar.

Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams served as the Titans' senior defensive assistant in 2013 and linebackers coach Frank Bush had the same role in Tennessee in 2011 and 2012 when Ayers was playing there.

Ayers will be reunited with both in St. Louis.

Ayers comes to the Rams from the Patriots, where he spent the final nine games of 2014.

The Titans originally drafted Ayers in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft.

He played there until October of last season when the Patriots traded a sixth-round pick in 2015 for him and a 2015 seventh-round choice.

After arriving in New England, the Patriots used Ayers primarily in a pass-rushing role in their sub-packages. He posted 17 tackles, four sacks and an interception for New England. For his career, Ayers has 241 tackles, 13 sacks, three interceptions and three forced fumbles.

I was kinda hoping that Seattle would get Pot Roast. But perhaps they're going after Red Bryant now that he has been released?

That would've been crazy if you guys ended up getting Pot Roast. He, Kevin Williams, Brandon Mebane, and an up and coming Jordan Hill would have been probably the best DT rotation in the league.

McFadden is made out of glass. Regardless of OL, the dude was missing half seasons because of sprained ankles and strained feet and other bullshit.

I think all of those injuries added up, last season he looked slow as fuck, even when he would catch a hole he didn't seem to have the speed to break away or mobility to break tackles any more.

I think the Cowboys are gonna draft a RB and McFadden will probably come off the bench.

Who knows though, McFadden will probably spit in the face of all Raiders fans and run for like 1,400 yards and make the pro bowl lol seems how it always works out for us.

^^^ Na i dont believe this time the Raiders will regret it, he doesnt have it anymore. Hes basically good for short yardage plays cuz he gives it his all but hes almost as slow as a fb now lol. Like you said injuries added up and the rb position is already worse then any other position as far as mileage goes. I always appreciated his effort but thats about it.

Nick Fairley signs with Rams

Nick Fairley, who has the No. 14 spot on the list, has agreed to a contract with the Rams. The team made the announcement at a press conference on Friday that was scheduled to formally introduce quarterback Nick Foles after acquiring him in a trade earlier this week.

Fairley missed the second half of the Lions season and their playoff loss to the Cowboys after suffering a knee injury, but was playing well before he was injured. Fairley played in 46 games for the Lions after they selected him in the first round of the 2011 draft as injuries have been an issue throughout his career. Conditioning was also a problem for Fairley at times in Detroit.

Fairley will join Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers to form a strong trio at defensive tackle in St. Louis. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that it is a one-year deal with a $5 million base and $2.5 million more available in incentives. Should Fairley stay healthy, fit and productive, he’ll be set up for another shot at a longer deal next year.

Fairley paid a visit to the Bengals before going to St. Louis and never seemed to be in play for a return to the Lions, who traded for Haloti Ngata while losing Fairley and Ndamukong Suh at defensive tackle.

C.J. Spiller agrees with Saints

The top free agent back is off the market.

C.J. Spiller has reached a contract agreement with the Saints, PFT’s Mike Florio has confirmed. ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported Spiller had a deal with New Orleans.

Spiller was PFT’s 27th-ranked free agent and the third-best player left without a signed contract or an agreement in principle. He had played the previous five seasons with Buffalo, which traded for LeSean McCoy before the start of free agency.

Now, the 27-year-old Spiller has a new home in New Orleans, which now has enviable backfield depth, with Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson both strong between the tackles and Spiller one of the game’s faster backs.

also added Chris Culliver lol
Chris Culliver lands deal in D.C.

Chris Culliver’s visit to Washington appears to have been a rousing success.

We posted early Friday about Culliver’s trip to meet with the Redskins, which was the first public show of interest in his services since free agency opened on Tuesday. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that there won’t need to be a second one because Culliver will sign a four-year contract to join the team’s secondary.

The Redskins got very little from their cornerbacks last season before and after DeAngelo Hall was lost for the season to a torn Achilles, which makes their interest in corners this offseason easy to understand. Culliver should be the team’s No. 1 corner before the ink of his signature on the contract even has a chance to dry.

Culliver joins defensive linemen Stephen Paea, Ricky Jean Francois and Terrance Knighton as new additions to the defense in General Manager Scot McCloughan’s first offseason running the shop in Washington.

Titans reach deal with TE Anthony Fasano

On the fourth day of free agency, the Titans have been the NFL’s biggest wheelers-and-dealers.

Their latest deal comes with ex-Chiefs tight end Anthony Fasano, who has reached agreement with Tennessee, Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports reported.

The 30-year-old Fasano caught 25 passes for 226 yards and four touchdowns last season for Kansas City. He has hauled in multiple TDs in seven consecutive seasons.

Fasano will join Delanie Walker, Craig Stevens and Taylor Thompson in Tennessee’s TE corps. Walker is the group’s top pass catcher. Stevens is known for his blocking, but he’s set to make $3.5 million in salary in 2015, per NFLPA records.

Saints trade Kenny Stills to Miami for Dannell Ellerbe and a third

The Saints are apparently willing to trade everyone.

But in the strangest turn, they’re sending one of the young and cheap ones in exchange for a guy many thought was already cut.

A league source tells PFT that the Saints are dealing wide receiver Kenny Stills to the Dolphins, in exchange for linebacker Dannell Ellerbe and a third-round pick.

Ellerbe was reported to be cut by the Dolphins, but they never turned in the paperwork, so they could do such a deal.

The Saints have traded or cut high-earners, but Stills is interesting because he’s still working on a rookie deal which pays him just $585,000 this year and $675,000 next year.

Stills won’t turn 23 until next month, and gives the Dolphins a legitimate deep threat for their offense (16.5 yards per catch).

Ellerbe, on the other hand is 29 and expensive. He’s due $8.425 million, $6.45 million, and $6 million the next three seasons. It’s probably safe to assume there’s a restructuring in his future.
