I'm picking this album up for sure Cool Nutz always puts it down with that crazy shit. Like D said why did you change the cover, actually I liked the first one better myself.

^ so why not just make a whole new cover?

i'm going to be quite honest here (something rare on bart):

if you haven't gone to press, change your cover.

if i understand correctly, you're re-releasing this for new distribution? changing the cover for that, i understand. but you didn't really do a whole new cover, you took out major elements of the old cover. what you're doing now is rereleasing a cd with revamped tracklisting so why not revamp the cover?

not only does it not look good being so plain (i'm inclined to say wack, or generic), but making it even worse is that shirt. It sorta fit in with the "vegas" background, you know: loud, flashy, eye catching. but it's waaay too much for the new cover. another thing is, that shirt's pretty much played out now. don't play yourself by putting yourself out there wearing dated clothing.

i know in the end, the music speaks for itself, but a good look always gives the opportunity for that listen. a bad look rarely forgives.

Even is I didn't work with Cool Nutz, I would have disagree with you on this one. There is alot of BULLSHIT graphic design that gets posted on this site, and alot of you are the first ones to jump on here and say "That shit is tight". This Cool Nutz cover is straight to the point and puts the focus on the artist. It is also a cover that isn't just some regional shit, with a car in the background, a table full of money, fake diamonds in the letters, or some other nonsense that alot of cats seem to think is tight.

The cover is plain, but thats what makes it dope. We didn't want to change the whole cover, we wanted to go with the same idea, but make it a little different. We want the artist represented properly, and we like our shit to look classy, not some super imposed shit.

And the shirt seems to go with the overall color scheme of the cover. The lights that were in the background took the focus off of the artist. We want to sell Cool Nutz, not the super imposed girl, cars, or guns that are on so many covers these days.

However, we do appreciate your feedback, and like the fact that you are being honest.
