(TORONTO, ON) - Internationally and locally acclaimed artist, Luu Breeze, will be releasing a mixtape Friday, September 19th entitled "The Pre-Topic" to be available online for free download, hand to hand and in select store locations.
The Pre-Topic is a prelude to Luu's much anticipated "Topic of Discussion" retail street album which is expected to hit stores before the end of 2008.
The Pre-Topic gathers features and drop appearences from Spark Dawg (of Scarface's Green City), Yung Texxus (of Scarface's Green City), Mayhem Morearty, Richie Sosa, Page, Drake, Rez Digital of OTA Live, DJ P-Plus and many more.
Production credits include Mega Man (G-Unit, Blood Raw, D-Block), Majik (Jim Jones - "Weatherman"), Mike Payne (Ol' Dirty Bastard, Killer Mike, Jadakiss, Styles P, Rhymefest) and platinum producers The Runners (DJ Khaled, Young Jeezy, Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross) on the K-Yung & Spark Dawg collaboration "Glance at My Wrist".
Included also will be Luu's smash single "Break 'Em Off" (#1 for 4 weeks on OTA Live/Flow 93.5 Megacity countdown) and snippets of future singles from the "Topic of Discussion" street album.
Rumors have linked the Toronto native to the Disturbing Tha Peace label, made famous by rapper Ludacris, this past year. In a recent July interview with AllHipHop.com Luu admitted to strong interest and discussion with Atlantic Records awell, though the rapper is still currently independent and will officially be launching his own label in the upcoming months.
