To all producers and artists: I got a midi keyboard hooked up to my Power Mac with operating system 8.6 on it. I was looking to purchase some sequencer/multitrackrecording software because I was using a cracked demo for a while and that is now not working. My questions are:
1) What serious and professional Software sequencer should I buy for my older mac. Cubase? Cakewalk? and do you know if it would run on an older operating system like 8.6?
2) Also what do you think about samplers? should I get some hardware or sample straight from my computer? Which is easier and has more advantages?
3) And last but not least, I am ashamed to say it but I have been using a casio ctk-651 keyboard and it obviously aint cutting it, so what midrange keyboard do you suggest I look into?
