I am all with the old school thing.

I love the old schools.

...but if he bought an 07 & does not still have a warranty & had to replace the tranny out of pocket, then I dunno what to say to that.

my shit came with a 10 year / 100,000 mile drive train warranty.
Cant beat that warranty! I wonder if any of the cars dudes looking at comes with a warranty?

If you know the history on both cars through work and both are in good order...go with the cheaper car. Chargers are much cooler looking, but $4K is $4K.

sadly....i was raised to buy american....mainly GM...its kinda stuck...honda, toyota, acura have some good products no doubt....but it just isnt me...my woman drives a honda accord...and since ive known her she has had no issues...lucky her and knock on wood

i have opened up to the possibility of a foreign vehicle for the reliability factor..my GM FWD's just dont cut it...problems with transmissions and im tired of replacing them....I am a GM+ASE certified mechanic...and i see a lot of bullshit...GM/FORD/DODGE-CHRYSLER products are just faulty and there is no real fix just replacement

SHEA happy as hell with his dodge....super wait for the mileage it WILL happen not wishing anything bad but i know from experience...

I bought magnum and at ( roughly ) 45,000 miles the engine blew up

I had a dodge intrepid....engine blew up

keep in mind that as a mechanic i see and hear all horror stories with vehicles so i should have known better...but chrysler/dodge has great bodey designs with the magnum/charger/300....unfortunately they have flaws everywhere else...

im considering a new hyundai sonata or genesis...sad i know but they look fresh as fuck...and are better equipped or comparable to many top of the line brands

I'm attracted to lower price and lower miles. Neither of these cars have ever been on my wanted list and I don't consider them to be cool, but they seem to be a good deal and I need a new car.

2006 Chrysler Sebring Touring White 2.7 v6 62,000 miles = 4,500

2007 Dodge Charger base Slate color 2.7 v6 69,000 miles = 8,800

youre gonna need a new transmission with either one of those so factor that into the price. chrysler is trash.

its funny how alot of you go for looks over dependability

dodge/chrysler has some great designs....its everything else thats inferior

and thats what they bank on... you not caring as long as it looks good

God damn some of you sound like jackasses about cars. Dude, buy whatever you want, if the looks are worth $4k to you then go for it, your the one that has to drive it/look at it, just take care of whatever you get.

I will not buy anything dodge ever again.

I've owned three dodge vehicles, all have had major issues each including transmission problems. My next car will be Japanese.
