I was sitting here lookin at some of the posts on here. Yea, we have some fun cheering for our teams, and talkin shit to each other. I was just lookin at the Celtics/Lakers thread, and it was some super norteno on there talkin bout Go Boston Celtics, and Fuck the Smell A Fakers...

...It made me think.....

Could this cat even name the starting five for the Celtics, or was he just on some hater shit? Was he on some gang shit due to the Lakers playin in Los Angeles? I cant call it..

I see it this way tho, My team is the LAKERS, been that way since they were the Showtime starting 5 playing at The Forum in Inglewood. I'm rollin with the Purple and Gold Win or Lose...

BUT...if they didnt make it to the Finals, I would be going for WHATEVER team came out the West. Cause Im from the West Coast, and I want to see the west win, and leep the trophy over here on THIS coast. That goes for ALL SPORTS.

LMAO @ cats from here that are cheering Boston on like a muthafucca, and they will never in thier lives be nowhere near the city of Boston, let alone touch within Boston city limits...

So for the record, I'm pro ALL WEST COAST teams...

I'm the same. I'm pulling for the Lakers just because they're a California team, and that's my home state.

I'm not a Laker fan by any means, but since my team is out of contention...it makes it funner as a spectator to root for one team. I'm almost always going to choose the team that is from California, or west coast.

There is one exception though, I will forever root against the Raiders.

I don't give a shit about boston. Only person I like is Ray Allen since he was on the only team I give a shit about which is the Sonics.

Oh yeah, fuck the NBA. Every play it's foul. Shit's ridiculous.

I also don't give a shit if it's a West Coast team, that means nothign to me. I've from seattle (born in Chicago) not Cali. I never liked the lakers. Especially since they robbed Portland and also Sacramento thanks to the crooked refs.

Dee Brown, Clyde Drexler, Jordan, Scottie Pimp'n, Harold Miner, Larry Johnson, Reggie Miller, Alonzo Mourning, Tony Kucoc, Mugsy Bouges, David Robinson, Dekembe Mutombo, Flattop, Vlade Divac, Joe Dumars, Vince Carter, Patrick Ewing, Shaq, Chris Mullin, Olajawon & Shawn Kemp

I don't think I have ever seen Kobe Bryant play a game, only from highlights on TV

I just disagree personally... that's just me though

I know people who feel like you though... my boy is a niners fan, and hates the Raiders, but he says he'll root for the Raiders if they're in the Super Bowl (unless they were playing the Niners of course) because he'd want to see a Cali team, especially a Bay Area team, win another championship

I'm the opposite... if the niners are in the super bowl... I'm most likely goin against them (unless it's against an AFC west rival)

as a Warriors fan it's natural to dislike the Lakers... we're division rivals... not much of a rivalry because the Lakers are a much better team, but still...

I don't honestly hate LA, or the Lakers... I think some of their fans are faggots... but there are some faggot Warrior fans too, or fans of any team for that matter

to me it's all fun to though... nothin serious about it... having a rooting interest one way or another is what makes sports entertaining

I don't care if the Lakers bring home another ring... even though I'm from the Westcoast... I'm from the Bay, not LA... and it's not my team, I'm a Warriors fan... so it's fuck the Lakers on mines

not to mention I just don't like Kobe... I respect him, and he's a great player... I just feel like he comes off as an asshole, and it's hard for me to root for him
