Hey guys I was on the computer at UMG today and I saw that Napster has changed their site around. You can stream music for free now. I think that you can listen to very song 5 times before you have to pay for it. They have other new stuff too. Thought you might like to check it out if you get the chance.

All of the torrent sites I use, put together, I've downloaded probably over half a TB, maybe more. But that includes everything - movies, software, etc.

can you guys recomend some sick torrent sites,or the best torrent search engines?
Well the one we were talking about is called "Oink" and its a private invite community - basically people rack up invites the more they upload, and they can invite friends. Sort of like gmail but way more exclusive. I'd send invites out but I'm all out right now. I get maybe 1 per month at the most - thats how hard it is to rack up.

But for public sites, here are my opinions on the rankings of the sites (and not to sound like my opinion is fact, but i have a lot of experience with torrents and these "are" the correct rankings ;)):

1) IsoHunt - *Currently* the best public site, BUT... it switches back and forth. MOST of the time, torrentspy is the best. But for some reason they have been lacking in the last 2 weeks on new releases. The majority of files though, Isohunt and Torrentspy 'share' the same seeder list, which means they are the exact same. Thats why a lot of the numbers will be similar on each of them.

2) Torrentspy - previously mentioned. My personal favorite public site. I get the highest speeds and the color scheme of the site is more professional (not that that matters though). Great site

3) TorrentReactor - Good for TV eps, anime, moves, games, etc. Its ok for music but definitely not the first choice.

4) The Pirate Bay - Best for games probably. This place is the headquarters for most "warez groups".. the elite app/game people and all of that crap. I dont know if theyre good on music, Ive actually never checked.

And newnova.org is a contender too. But they still arent as good as suprnova.org used to be back in the day.

As for the best Torrent PROGRAMS... Its uTorrent hands down with the win. Barely though, over Azureus, which held the title for over a year.

I use isohunt.com (all the time); if I can't find it there then I use thepiratebay.com, and if I still can't find it then I assume it is nowhere to be found. I fucking <3 torrents.
