Mom and Pop record stores in Northridge/LA?

I just moved to Northridge and the only record stores I saw was rip off Towers and Wherehouse charging 18.98 per CD. Theirs gotta be a mom and pops store around here or not too far away.

Try Amoeba music store on Sunset Blvd. I haven't been there yet, but I've heard they have a gang of music.

in the northridge mall theres astand that has cds for $13-14, on roscoe blvd and van nuys blvd in panorama city theres the panorama mall and across the street theres the swapmeet that has cheap cds.
