It has been more than 12 months since Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion Randy Couture has competed. He is subsequently ineligible until such time as he returns to competition.
Also of note, Rich Franklin recently moved to the 205-pound division and is now eligible for consideration in that division.
