MBOX 2 Feedback/Echo Problem (please help)

Whatsup, so in my home studio I running with the MBOX 2 now had to downgrade to it from the DIGI 002....Now im getting a horrible echo in the headphones when I try to record. It plays back the vocals like 1/2 second behind. So you cant record and hear yourself at the same time... Am I doing something wrong with the buses or sends... any help would be good.. im thinkin of just gettin' a used DIGI 002 cuz this shit is gay...

adjust the latency. Right now you are probably have it set to 1028 or 512. Lower it to 256 or 128. Even better is 64.

I had the same problem you will have to mute the track your recording on....

OH I GOT THAT PROBELM ADJUST THE VOLUME ON THE TRACK PUT IT LIKE -7.00 IT WILL HELP TRUST ME

How would one go about changing the latency??????

And does changing the latency effects your computer in any way????

SETUP-->PLAYBACK ENGINE-->HARDWARE BUFFER.

MBOX and MBOX 2 users may want to use the LOW LATENCY MONITOR option. Please refer to your manual next time.

EDIT: Google LATENCY or refer to your manual.

HERESY...thanks again for the help playa...that fixed my problem...I had all my sessions defaulting at 2048, when I switched to 128 that fixed the problem...thanks your help is always appreciated

np. If you get a HARDWARE BUFFER ERROR or static and cracks in playback raise teh shit to 256.
