(spinning the cylinder of a revolver, feeling
the weight of a single bullet in there. smacking
it with the heel of my palm, slamming it home,
cocking back the trigger. up to my own dome:
pulling the trigger: nothing but the hollow click
of the hammer coming down on an empty chamber.)
well, since that didn't work & i get to live 1 more day,
i geuss i can attend to your question: production issue's
have come up. as i said in another post: i'm finna write
a comedy about the making of this record when i'm done.
maybe have ed norton play my character.
SO: here are some distractions i tend to when i need
distraction, as well i can see some of y'all might be
down for. the recomendations i make are all on par
w/ the kind of product we make.
movies:
TIME & TIDE
hong kong action flick but a cut above the rest.
no tacky comedy thrown in, just straight drama
& the clattering of bulletshells everywhere. builds
up slow but well worth it for the last half-hour,
1 big, extensive show-down that moves from
setting to setting w/ the stench of cordite in
the air.
CANNIBAL
the musical. something for y'all ripgut bong
smokers out there. it's a comedy by the same
people who brought you south park. nuff said.
websites:
http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/index_anime.html?fromsite=quicktime
download the 2 cartoons they got on there.
tight shit. very good way to keep RABID
matrix fans up on something while they
WAIT for the movie. wish we had it like
that, but since we don't imma have to
send y'all there. if i'm biting, fuck it.
the 2nd of the 2 is tighter.
comix:
100 BULLETS
published by vertigo. ask for
it at any comic store, they'll know. better to
read it from the 1st paperback & in order.
don't bother w/ the individual monthly issues:
get the graphic novels, more bang for your buck.
i think of anythang else, i'll drop them daimonds
right on here.
now if y'all will excuse me, i'd like to get back to
my game of roulette.
