anybody watch this show? its pretty dope. seeing cats desperate for money, hooking up with drug dealers to pull deals abroad. Getting caught up and spending time in some fucked up prison in a third world country. pretty crazy. The story is being told by the person who got caught and im watchin it right now on National Geographic Channel.

My good friend (its his birthday today, going to Hollywood) is in that. Well someone else is playing him. He did almost 4 years in Brazil. If you watch the episode he is the first one to get busted standing in the airport security line. The guy telling the story cashed out on the story without telling the other 3 people involved, one being my friend Guy (real name). Pretty messed up.
He came back speaking PERFECT Portuguese!
It happened over 10 years ago...old story but crazy.

Basically they promised him and his friends 50K to bring X amount of dope over. They were supposed to go from Brazil to Hungary. Well, here is the catch. They have 4 Nigerian's right behind them bringing over 10 times that amount. The drug dealers rat out the American kids (my friend, etc.) and airport security thinks they hit the big one...but the Nigerian's stroll right through with 10 times that amount since the guards think they just hit the big bust. Pretty shady shit, but hey, it's how it's done.

I doubt it, but I'm pretty sure they knew the over all plan just to make sure they stood behind them in line. They were probably just paid to get it across.
It's pretty smart once you think about it. You sacrifice 10% of your stash as insurance to get your other 90% across. For all I know airport security is in on it as well.

I'm not sure dude. I seen it last night when I was watching this show on Nat Geo called Aftermath: Population Zero, which by the way wasn't too bad. Made ya think anyway. But yeah, they showed a short preview of the "NEW" season of Locked Up Abroad on the Nat Geo channel last night. I'm sure they'll repeat it. I did a google search, didn't come up with much tho.

watched it last night. That bitch was dumb she fucked up cuz she got high the night before. regardless she's lucky she only did a year and a half in a Jap prison and not 10 years in Nepal.
