... and visit the official Paris website http://www.guerrillafunk.com/

It is also a home of Public Enemy, Kam and The Conscious Daughters, just to name a few. Besides music infos and album updates "Guerilla Funk" offers many articles concerning politics, rap shit, the power of mass media and its manipulation of civil society, drugs, our everyday life and the future of our youth. Some of the shit is even written by Paris himself.

"1. Tell me about Guerrilla Funk. Why was it formed?

Guerrilla Funk was born out of necessity. It's a musical organization that was founded by Paris - the politically conscious artist best known for the incendiary song "Bush Killa" -- that counters the corporate stranglehold of censorship currently plaguing the entertainment industry. It provides balance in this intolerant climate of suppression of free speech and artistic expression, and serves as a vehicle for those who are unable - not because of lack of talent or relevance - to be heard. There now exists a harmful double-standard at most record labels of endorsing artists who only espouse misogyny, mindless violence, and drug culture references in their music -- while at the same time ignoring artists who strive to enlighten and inspire. It is our pledge at Guerrilla Funk Recordings not to follow suit.

2. Do you guys hate America? If so, why don't you leave?

Of course we don't hate America. But we do hate its unequal and oppressive practices when dealing with its citizenry and the citizenry of people abroad. And though we love our folks and have no desire to live elsewhere, understand that there is no utopia, and concerned citizens will point out problems and strive for improvements wherever they live. Running away from these problems will not solve them. Additionally, if they were to leave this country, the problems inherent to the U.S. (especially militarism and corporate exploitation) would often affect them more if they lived elsewhere.

Also, racism has and continues to be a huge obstacle in the way of progress for many people of color here, so we speak on it. Things simply have to change for the better of everyone - that's why we do our part to try to counteract measures that have been put in place to systematically thwart our growth as a people. And for the record, no, we don't support terrorists (U.S. or otherwise) or terrorism, and, no, we're not calling for violence to be inflicted on anyone. Remember, freedom of speech to voice dissent at injustice is NOT a privilege, but a right afforded to us here. To not excercise that right when faced with injustice and oppression is unpatriotic - not the other way around. [...]"

I've read some of the stuff written by Paris and agree with him on many points. Actually I was thinking the same way even before I discovered his website. This is not just about conspiracy but damn, there is so much hidden politics and fake shit that CIA be doing that we civil society doesnt know about..

Like CIA having a contract with Mob bosses to kill Kastro back in 60s. Before Kastro came to power US-Mob bosses had the monopoly on casinos and clubs in Cuba but got closed when Kastro came to power. Thats when Kastro got mad and opened his prison gates to let Cubas criminals get to Miami, same shit we could see on SCARFACE. He was like you send your criminals to us, we send our criminals to you.. But you know they aint talking about that in the news. BTW, I seen this shit on a documentary named "Mafia, the History of the MOB in America". Watch this!
