this is gonna be a fight, I have a feeling Pavlik is gonna pull it off tho by knockout. Martinez better respect his power

the Bute and Miranda fight is gonna be just as good, Miranda is hungry again

I got Kelly by stoppage. Martinez is crafty, but Kelly is really heavy handed and I just think that he's going to catch him eventually.

I was leaning torwards Martinez by UD but I think he fades late in fights and Kelly is an excellent finisher, meaning Pavlik by late round KO.

Martinez also has that macho shit in him where he trades blow for blow when he doesn't need to, that will get him in trouble.

If he could be smart for 12 rounds he could outbox kelly.

Bute should murder Miranda. But Miranda will always has that punchers chance

man, this is an absolute MUST win for Pavlik. His career will be destroyed practically if he loses to Martinez. I mean since the Hopkins raping he's fought rubio and Espino. And before that it was Gary Fucking Lockett. His middleweight rain is making calzaghe's run look like Marvin Hagler's resume. fuck.

Pavlik looks like he's training hard though, I'm having that feeling that pavlik is going to be back to his old self (knockin foo's out jermain taylor style!):

i'm always riden with pavlik but i don't know much about martinez.
did you see his fight with paul williams? That fight could have gone either way as far as scoring and martinez knocked williams down and rocked him continuously throughout the fight. He's slick, very fast and a good counter puncher. Kelly's going to have problems. His weakness is that he may tend to fade late in fights and he sometimes goes toe-to-toe when he doesn't need to (since he's such a good boxer).

Pavlik is too straight up for Martinez IMO. He's not faster than Martinez, his footwork isn't better and I really can't see Martinez falling for the jab, jab, right hand combo. Only way I see Martinez losing is if he gets cracked flush while fighting silly.

.. meaning I don't see Martinez dropping this fight .. even if he fades late. With all the shit Pavlik had going on with him who knows how he'll be deep in the fight.

makes me feel a lil better about my bets. I made two - one that martinez will win straight up and the other being that the fight will go the distance.

As the fight got closer I feel like pavlik is going to knock him out late. I could see martinez slipping late and pavlik is a great finisher.

LOL, Naner is right, all Pavlik throws is that jab, jab, right hand. Martinez is going to be stinging Pavlik making his bald head snap back. Martinez should win a close UD.

I think Bute might knock Miranda out.

^^of course bute is going to knock miranda out, miranda has got worse and worse and worse over the years.

My thing with Martinez is he tries to be too macho at times which worries me against the strongest puncher he's ever faced in his life that could be deadly.
