Shortly after a patent for the game Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for the Nintendo DS was found, a patent for another game called "Castlevania: Judgement" was found. In late 2007, Iga had indicated that the next game Konami was planning on releasing after their third Dual Screen game would be a next gen game. At that time Konami was leaning towards making the game an X-Box 360 exclusive game due to the success of that platform in the United States, which is where the majority of sales for Castlevania games come from. The game was not likely to be released on the Playstation 3 due to its slow start. However, he did indicate that if sales picked up for that platform, especially if the new Konami game Metal Gear Solid expanded its market base, that a game for the PS3 was a possibility. About the prospect of creating a much demanded Castlevania game on the Nintendo Wii, he did not believe that it would be practical to create a Wii game that utilizes the Wii remote for whipping motion because that would cause the player's arm to get tired too quickly. He did indicate that they were exploring ways to make a game for the Wii practical and if they found a way to make a good game, might do so. The leaked images from the game Order of Ecclesia hinted at that DS game would have some sort of Wii connectivity, which might indicate that this game could be a game made for the Wii. The game Castlevania Judgement could be for any of these three systems. It is also possible that this game could be a new game for any other system though. A sequel to Order of Shadows is likely to be made, though the departure of the "x of x" naming convention makes this unlikely. The game could represent the first in a series of Wii-Ware games, which might explain the "wii-connectivity" feature of Order of Ecclesia. It could also be a brand new 2.5D PSP game to follow up on the success of Dracula X Chronicles remake, though it would be unusual for Konami to release two hand-held games close to each other. Konami has yet to make any announcements about this game and no detail other than it's name and copywrite information is known at this time.

[edit] Story
The story is unknown for this game. Speculation based on it's title suggests that it may represent a remake or prequel to Dracula's Curse, where "Judgement" would represent Dracula's judgement on humanity and decision to carry out its extinction. This would fit the pattern of new 3D games being set in the earlier years of the Castlevania timeline and new 2D games being set in the later years. Also, Iga has expressed his desire to make a remake of Dracula's Curse, which he had wanted to do when he created Curse of Darkness.

[edit] Gameplay
It is not known at this point if the game will be a 2D or 3D game or what sytem it s for. Iga has indicated that he would be interested in creating a new 2.5D game in the style of Dracula X Chronicles for a console game, depending on the success of that game.

Iam a Vania fan so LOI was good because of the music and story line and COD was good because of the level gaining and added monster side kick.

Cant wait.
