^^^I agree, in the long run it would definitely be better for LA not to trade for Kidd. He only has another couple of really good years left. Still would be fun to see though

THEY NEED TO GIVE UP BARON AND PIETRUS, BARON GETS INJURED WAY TO EASILY, IT WOULD MAKE A LOT OF SENSE IF KIDD CAME TO THE WARRIORS CUZ OF ALL HIS HISTORY IN THE BAY.

This from benmaller.com

The Lakers and Golden State were in the mix, but Los Angeles is the front-runner if Jason Kidd were to be moved. Sources indicate the Lakers offered Jordan Farmar, Aaron McKie, Chris Mihm and Kwame Brown for Kidd. Mihm and Brown are out with injuries. For the Nets to move Kidd to the Lakers, second-year center Andrew Bynum, a Plainsboro native, would have to be part of the deal, although veteran forward Lamar Odom also would be attractive to the Nets. The Nets also would part with Jason Collins as part of the package.

Like somebody said earlier, LA would be stupid to ship out Bynum, and I think it would be a mistake to trade Odom as well.

Yeah, LA would be giving up too much if Odom was included in the package. Kobe, Odom, and Kidd could make things interesting in the West if they were to play together. They better hurry for chemisty reasons. But right now, Phoenix is looking unstoppable.
