I'm talking about crunk music, memphis was not has annoying with the hooks but man did they steal that style and run with it or what????? 3-6 Mafia started that shit for real, and u never hear any ATL catsreally give it up to Memphis. That is like a midwest tongue tisting rapper not giving DAP to Bone or Twista. any thoughts :devious:

ATL always was parallel to Memphis dog....club wise, get buck wise, everything. why you think people from Memphis go to ATL, and vice versa...its the same type environment. Atlanta aways been this way, but obviously Memphis brought it to the front first.

ATL was more into Bass Booty shaking music in the past, and since Memphis came out with crunk hardcore shit, ATL artists have migrated to that style.

da industry actin like that cuz ATL is blowin up and has been like that for a while now. now u see more better music coming from them. memphis music was tight but they not that good anymore same with new orleans. ATL holdin' it down, i'm sure they gave credit to memphis for startin it up but music is just music, who gives a fuck. if it's some tight crunk ATL shit then people are gonna buy it...u don't see 36mafia or other memphis rappers hatin on atl they showin love...

Crunk was in Mississippi and ATL, Florida the same time it was in Memphis. All the Memphis artist that did crunk music relocated to Texas, Florida, Mississipi, Alabama and so on vica versa basically they all like a big family. Honestly the South period started the crunk style. ATL just get more mainstream recognition. Ive been to both Atl and Memphis and both cities are pretty much crunk and jumping.
