I like Shill Macc's new music cause it's introspective and lyrical but also got that street edge. These are a couple of my favorite tracks from his upcoming album Beautiful Scars

I'm copping the album now, I'll add my thoughts on it once I hear it a couple times.

Yup.

On the first listen I liked tracks 1, 6, 10, 14 and 15 the most. Tracks 2-5 and 7-9 were pretty forgettable - especially track 2 - but the last part of the album (10-15) was better. The mixing was the only thing on the album that was outright bad... the levels changed every track. Also, some of the album sounds like it was recorded in 2003 (mainly because of the beat choice) and some of it sounds like it was recorded this year... it could have used more cohesion and parts of it didn't feel "dated" in a good way.

"Race'n" and "My Hunger" hinted at the potential he has but O/A this wasn't a strong project and a lot of it didn't really do a good job of showcasing his lyrical ability. He does have a few good songs on it though.
