Instrument Definition Files...

This is for yall ProTools and Cakewalk users...

I use Cakewalk to do all my sequencing.

I have INS. Files for each of my instruments.

For example Mo' Phatt, Triton, JV-2080, or whatever.

These INS. Files have a list of all the names of every bank and patch in the modules, for example: PHATT 1 Sub: GhettoBass.

My question is if I upgrande to ProTools, can I use the same INS files in ProTools.

I hope someone's feelin me...????

Mane if I cant get it to work, I think Ill be producin in Cakewalk 4eva...

Ima still upgrade to Digi 002, but I will use Cakewalk till I can get bank and patch names to show up in Protools.

I saw this in the manual and it only seemed to be for Macs... Is there a PC equivalent?

You might be right folx...I know that are specific INS files for Macs and differnt INS files for MAC's..

Anyone?
