this is for everyone to come out any of your questions that you have on this board can be answered in depth at these events its gonna be more like a mini rap summit each week Danny Dee and myself along with C-4 have came up with many great ideas for everyone to take advantage of each wed we will be having a headliner performer so your basicly paying 5 buck to also see a great show tons of artists are behind us in this aswell as the rest of the industry we only have room for about 3 groups a night plus a headliner so get at us asap and if u think the 100 dollars is a lil steep trust me wut you will get out of it will be well worth it and im not just saying that we have alot of things that you will get besides the performance and people that will be there to see you we are setting up promo stuff for you that is necessary and aslo chance to make more money trust me its worth it lets take the bay to the next level of bizzness and keep it there peace

HOPEFULLY THIS EVENT WILL SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE REALITY OF THE MUSIC SCENE....... WE SPEND A LOT OF TIME TAP DANCING AROUND THE REAL ISSUES OUT HERE. I THINK WE ALL KNOW WHAT IT TAKES IN THE END TO MAKE IT. UNLESS YOU LACE SOMEONES POCKET TO HELP YOU, ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN. REALITY IS, THERE ARE ONLY ABOUT 10-15 INDUSTRY CATS IN THE BAY WHO WILL REALLY HELP AN UP AND COMING ARTIST OUT OF THE LOVE OF MUSIC.......DONT WANNA BE NEGATIVE OR ANYTHING, I JUST WISH CATS WOULD STOP FRONTING LIKE THEY COMING TO THESE CONFRENCES TO HELP. NO DISRESPECT TO DANNY DEE OR DADDY RICH, CAUSE THEY SOME GOOD DUDES IN THE SCENE OUT HERE, BUT LOOKING AT THAT LIST, I SEE A LOT OF CATS WHO HAVE BEEN SELLING THE SAME SONG AND DANCE FOR A WHILE AND DONT REALLY MEAN WHAT THEY SAY... ITS ENOUGH CLOUT ON THAT FLYER TO START A SERIOUS BAY MOVEMENT, BUT WE WILL SEE IF CATS ACTUALLY COME TOGETHER AND TRULY HELP UNSIGNED INDEPENDENT ARTISTS.

ONCE AGAIN MUCH LOVE TO DANNY DEE AND DADDY RICH, THIS WAS DIRECTED MORE TOWARD SOME OF THE NAMES ON THAT FLYER....HOPEFULLY THEY WILL READ THIS, THATS ALL

I hear ya on that homie and what we are hoping is by getting everyone under the same roof we can also talk about the direction of the bay and have panels that are not only informative but also a disscussion for peoples opnions to be heard and see if we can get people on the same page or atleast making a start feel me it aint gonna be easy but if eveyone helps it will be alot easier for the bay to take off ima call u up this week D-Cash pz

lookin 4ward to meeting everybody...we need more of these
with the support of the people from the Bay Area there could be many of these Danny Dee is working on sum stuff for the near future thats gonna be huge we just need more people in the industry that are willing to push forward and make moves if no one supports anything out here we might as well call it quits in this game as far as the bay goes

Independent artists should want to be a part of this for the knowledge, experience and networking they can obtain from it and Established Industry vets should support it because the Bay still is NOT together and is still not all the way moving in the right direction

like they already said, come out, see a great show, but more importantly find ways to take your career which hopefully you take serious enough to do so, to the next level

"successful people are always looking for oppurtunities to help others..unsuccessful people always ask "whats in it for me?"
-brian tracy

bottom line, we need events like this constantly...point blank period. it is no secret that in the past we (the bay as a whole) fucked up alot of situations that could have been spun in our favor. so the powers that be and other active figures in the scene need to form a consistent community and union. it has still yet to happen...we have plenty of parties & video shoots & shit but never a meeting environment where we quation motives.

and to go back to what dcash was sayin...yes, the bottom line is that u r gonna have to eventually break bread with people---this is the music business. its exactly that, a business. learn the protocol, meet the key members, setup the plan & execute. it is frustrating as shit to see how many artist post up music or pump themselves up or have 80 artist homies with a myspace talkin about how they are gonna blow up and they dont know the business or any key players...who also dont even know them. networking is the bloodline of the game! you never fully know what & who other people know.

i honestly believe that every artist should come out to this..if u value ur career then come out. if u dont...well thats just re-affirming what every major key player thinks about the bay "they arent ready here" (actual quote & opinion of several industry figures attended the bay area rap summit in Nov 05&06)

i have the biggest love/hate relationship with the bay...it is very frustrating
so please come out, its $5 and a few hours of your time. me & daddy rich dont make no money off this, we are wealthy from our other ventures. we do this for the bay

thats the reality of our region...there isnt any REAL industry established yet. we need to continue to build and hopefully throught that we can move foward. not every1 here gets to travel or see the world and eat off music like we do. this is the best starting point we can offer artists & aspiring ent moguls
