I need help...

Ok, I bought a MPC bout 4 months ago. My friend just got one yesterday. So I went over there and was teaching him some stuff. Showed him how to get sounds and shit. Then I showed him how to make a BASIC drum beat. I made it then I told him to make the same beat. This guy has no fucking rythem. I sat there for like 2 hours and he couldnt even lay the kicks down right. He's my boy and I don't want to see him waste his money. My question is, is there anyway you can learn rythem? Please help...

Try getting a Metronome. Is there a Click track on the MPC?

Yeah the MPC has one. Doesn't seem to help him though. I told him to practice and I would help him out in a week or so. Hopfully he gets better. Thanx for the replies...
