great mix, talking about this subject. what album did you like the most?
herm compilation 1 or west coast bad boys? both albums were dope, its a hard choice but im going with wcbb1

Glad you liked the mix.

It's a tough call. On one hand, WCBB has just a tiny bit of filler since there's more tracks. Herm seems more consistent all the way through but is a shorter album.

I think I'll go with Herm since it came first and sort of set the stage for WCBB and other later compilations. Shit was all good for awhile, then all the diluted compilations started coming out and the quality control wasn't shit.

i like "tryin to survive...." because it was and still is a bangin cd, and im pretty sure it showed the blueprint for makin a bay area comp...i think master p was bitin once again wit WCBB....i could be wrong tho
