Help with filters in photoshop

im pretty good at photoshop and im sure theres something about this already but it'll take forever to look and it would be nice to get some direct help on this.

How do you get extra filters on photoshop and install them? Like right now when i want to smooth people skin on pictures out or get rid of blemishes i use the blur tool and stuff but i know theres a filter for stuff like that.

If you want to get rid of blemishes, you don't need an extra filter.

just use the healing brush or the patch tool.

i dont have any installed so i dont know how one would go about doing that...

drop them in the filter folder in program files?

You'd go to the plugins folder and in there go to the filter folder. And yeah for blemishes, use the patch tool.
