trying to figure out what you mean by Robert Strong. That his new name?

Possible spoiler:
I remember in Feast for crows they sent the mountains head to Dorne. So perhaps some Frankenstein shit happened later.
yeah, they can't just call him FrankenGregor. And best theory ever is that it's the Mountain's body with Robb Stark's head which is never accounted for after the red wedding and sewing grey wind's head to his body. But it's sort of implied in the book that he doesn't have a head anymore.

"There were shadows all around them. One shadow was dark as ash, with the terrible face of a hound. Another was armored like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over them both loomed a giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood." (Bran III).

I wish they would have developed the story more regarding the High Sparrow and his power.

It seemed implausible to me that he would be able to hold both the Queen and Queen Mother captive in Kings Landing and nothing would happen.
They showed us how Cersei decided to reinstate the Faith Militant which is like a religious army. But yeah they could have explained just what exactly that means.

Yeah exactly. I mean you think someone would have just sent in the Goldcloaks or like the Tyrell's aren't going to call their Bannerman and smash on those Sparrows.

IDK it just seemed implausible to me without more understanding of the power the High Sparrow seemed to wield. I mean maybe if they had told me he had an army of 5k but I can't imagine that is the case.

I haven't read any of the books but in an episode the High Sparrow mentioned something about having the people behind him. I take it that the poor outnumber all of the Kings guard and Tyrells. That would explain how the Faith Militants gained power so fast.

Strength in numbers
Not surprisingly it's influenced by the Catholic church:

“The Sparrows are my version of the medieval Catholic Church, with its own fantasy twist,” Martin told EW. “If you look at the history of the church in the Middle Ages, you had periods where you had very worldly and corrupt popes and bishops. People who were not spiritual, but were politicians. They were playing their own version of the game of thrones, and they were in bed with the kings and the lords. But you also had periods of religious revival or reform—the greatest of them being the Protestant Reformation, which led to the splitting of the church—where there were two or three rival popes each denouncing the other as legitimate. That’s what you’re seeing here in Westeros. The two previous High Septons we’ve seen, the first was very corrupt in his own way, and he was torn apart by the mob during the food riots [in season 2]. The one Tyrion appoints in his stead is less corrupt but is ineffectual and doesn’t make any waves. Cersei distrusts him because Tyrion appointed him. So now she has to deal with a militant and aggressive Protestant Reformation, if you will, that’s determined to resurrect a faith that was destroyed centuries ago by the Targaryens.” - GRRM

Here are a few more of my thoughts on the finale after marinating on it a little more:

[spoilers below but if you still haven't watched the episode by now you are a sick degenerate fuck and you are probably into spoiled stuff like Bad Pussy]

1) Unnecessary Cliff Hangers - Booooo. Did Sansa and Theon die? Did Stannis die? Did Arya die? Is she blinded? That's weak and we deserve better. Unanswered questions are fine but don't resort to cheap cliff hangers. You don't need a cliffhanger to get me back next season. This isn't The Housewives of Kings Landing.

2) Sansa's Candle - Speaking of silly soap opera bullshit - will Brienne see it? Will she not. Oh there it is! Oh no see just missed it. Puke.

On to the good stuff:

3) Stannis the Mannis dying in less than glorious fashion - great. After all his build up and claim to the throne is was great to see him go down with little fanfare.

4) Jonny Boy Snow - setup and killed by his own stupid men - great. Could see this happening in real life. Generations of living one way would be very hard to change. People are fearful of change even when it is in their best interest and may even be necessary for their survival.

5) Cersei's walk of shame - great. What a powerful and well acted scene. I didn't think she was going to make it through alive at some points. Despite how much the show has made us hate her I certainly felt terrible for her during the walk. Well done on all counts, writing, acting, directing. Scenes like that remind me of why this show is special.

5.1) Cersei's walk of shame 2.0 - questionable. As mentioned beore, holding both the Queen and Queen Mother hostage in Kings Landing seems implausible at best.....Especially with Kevan Lannister in town. He is in command of the Lannister forces and could have easily smashed on the High Sparrow. I am hoping Season 6 gives us a good reason why he didn't. Also did the Gold Cloaks go on a team building retreat at the same time? Hello the Queen is being hostage by an old guy - go get her.

6) Would it be so difficult to make 12, 16, 20 episodes a season rather than 10?!?

7) Very exciting to see the Dothraki back in the mix. Will they be the force that pushes Daenerys over the top in her quest to take the Iron Throne or will they be the end of her?

8) Moar Sand Snake nudity for god sakes. Its great both because they are hot and I love how controversial any nudity on the show is.

Jaime started to be humanized after they cut off his hand and he refused milk of the poppy. That was the point where I was like "I guess this guy does have some character". He's been slowly getting to this point ever since then. Him losing his hand made him humble enough to be a likeable character.

I'd love for this to somehow end with the Superteam of Danaerys, Tyrion, Varys, Jaime, John Snow and Arya running shit. And then we all remember Bran is in a tree.

I think the idea was to show how people, much like in real life (especially in medieval times), fear and respect not only religion, but those who preach and enforce it.

Those were for sure Dothraki?

A Feast For Crows is mostly about how the average person got fucked by the war of the 5 kings. Especially in the Riverlands, everyone's either dead or super pissed off. So most of them said fuck the king and took up faith with the sparrows.

In AFFC have you gotten to when Brienne meets Septon Meribald and they go to the Quiet Isle? There's some super cool shit you need to know about that scene
