They'll probably show the Stark kids at the end of the season.

They need to fucking show Lord Beric Dondarrion though he's awesome.

Fucking hell, just Google him and found this:

So for now, or until the producer and writers ask him to rejoin the cast, it would appear Richard Dormer is done with Game of Thrones. And that's a shame, because I really liked the character of Lord Beric Dondarrion, the Lightning Lord.Feb 13, 2015

So I guess they can't really explain what happened to him since the story is too different from the show.

rewatched it today and all the stuff in Dorne feels terrible to me. The Sand Snakes are the worst thing on the show and Jaime & Bronn just feel out of place. It's not much better in the book but still, they chose to do this storyline instead of the Greyjoy one which is the most metal shit ever.
Agree...the fight scenes were shitty as hell...those chicks they got to play the sand snakes were AWFUL at fake fighting. The choreographer for that scene should be hung.

Seriously...what was the point of introducing the Brotherhood for 2 episodes, and then never bring them back?

^^^I honestly don't care if a fight scene here and there is weak. It was like 10 seconds of TV time.

Anyways, I didn't realize how much backlash there was over the rape scene until I started reading about it! Lol people hella mad, trying to boycott the show and shit.

First off, in the book it was far worse. Minor book spoilers - I haven't read that far but I read this online just to see. Ok yes, it was a different character, it was Arya's friend who the Lannisters pretend is Arya Stark and marry her off to the Boltons. But the rape is far worse. Ramsey wants her "ready" for the wedding night so he has her raped by men for days (weeks?), and on the wedding night he doesn't just make Reek watch, he also has him get her ready which involves eating her out. 100x fucking worse than the show, which went easy on Sansa. Now, I understand how some book readers don't like it because it's different from the book and they're worried it messes with Sansa's story arch, but all these other pussies are crying of a rape scene, but are totally fine with incest, exploding heads, decapitations, burning bodies, pregnant women getting stabbed in the gut, etc etc etc! Do they not know what they are watching? Wtf!

Ramsay rose, the firelight shining on his face. “Reek, get over here. Get her ready for me.” For a moment he did not understand. “I … do you mean … m’lord, I have no … I …” “With your mouth,” Lord Ramsay said. “And be quick about it. If she’s not wet by the time I’m done disrobing, I will cut off that tongue of yours and nail it to the wall.”

As a book reader, I can tell you whatever you read online is wrong. Nobody was raped for weeks. Most people, (book readers and tv viewers) are upset about the rape scene because it adds no value for the hbo story. The hbo executive morons threw it in for shock value for the general public and for ratings. It was a crude misogynist gratuitious filth. I guess that makes someone a pussy in your view. There was absolutely no constructive reason for Sansa's rape according to the main book storyline. At this point the show should be named something else entirely.

This is one of the reasons I'm done with the show. The liberties these corporate douches are taking with the story are way off. There is an intellectual storyline that is not translating to the television screen.

LOL @ sick writers...do these people not realize this is based off the books, written by a single man???
True the show is based on the books written by a single man, but more writers added to the shit they show on HBO. It's like when you go to a movie and it says "based on real events." The movie could follow the events closely, or vaguely. In this case, this season has been shit and way off.

They are doing that on purpose. The books at this point have a ton of stuff that doesn't translate well to TV, apparently.

I'm a book reader myself, only I've purposely not read past the show.

As for Sansa getting raped for no reason other than shock value, I fully disagree. For one, we don't know where the story goes from here and how Sansa's character evolves from here. Two, it will probably have the same end result as the book. Ramsey did rape a girl in the book. It was a fake Arya Stark. Is her rape not as bad because it wasn't one of the main characters? Of course not. Rape is rape. For numerous reasons, the show changed a number of characters around, maybe because they only have 10 episodes per season and can't possibly cover so many books characters and storylines, its just not possible, so they have to condense a lot of it, merge multiple characters into one, etc. With Sansa being with the Boltons and marrying/getting raped by Ramsey, it probably will speed up some of the storylines a lot faster. There are a number of explanations that I'm not going to go over, but the point is we have to wait and see how the rest of the season and next goes before we can judge if it was a bad decision or not.

It has a purpose, from the producer:

How could you do this to Sansa?”

Cogman seemed to take this question very seriously and took a moment to consider his response. “This is Game of Thrones,” he said soberly. “This isn’t a timid little girl walking into a wedding night with Joffrey. This is a hardened woman making a choice and she sees this as the way to get back her homeland. Sansa has a wedding night in the sense she never thought she would with one of the monsters of the show. It’s pretty intense and awful and the character will have to deal with it.”

I also asked whether the scene would be as sadistic as the version in George R.R. Martin’s A Dance With Dragons, where Ramsay’s bride is played by a different character who is not in the show. In Martin’s novel, Ramsay forces Theon to sexually interact with his bride. Cogman looked somewhat horrified at that idea. “No!” he said. “Lord no. No-no-no-no-no. No. It’s still a shared form of abuse that they have to endure, Sansa and Theon. But it’s not the extreme torture and humiliation that scene in the book is.”

Cogman added that the scene is also “an important turning point” for Sansa. “She’s seen Theon and hated him and thinks he killed her brothers and betrayed them but she’s very conflicted by what she’s seeing there,” he said.

The writer producer also confirmed that, for those suspecting Littlefinger might have known about Ramsay’s sadism, that Baelish was definitely ignorant of the situation. “The difference between the Ramsay Snow of the books and the show is the Ramsay of the show is not a famous psycho,” he said. “He’s not known everywhere as a psycho. So Littlefinger doesn’t have the intelligence on him. He knows they’re scary and creepy and not to be folly trusted and it’s part of a larger plan.”

UPDATE: Bryan Cogman tweeted the following: “Hi all. Not going to comment further but I do want to clarify something from the @EW interview that was conducted on set a few months ago: The ‘choice’ I was referring to was Sansa’s choice to marry Ramsay and walk into that room. She feels marrying him is a vital step in reclaiming her homeland." Not trying to change anyone’s opinion of the scene (negative or otherwise)”

I had a very well written rebuttal to that article because it's retarded but my screen froze so Im gonna go ahead and take that as a sign. But that's still fucking retarded
Sansa isn't a plot device that you can plug into a random character getting raped and say it's ok because the character she replaced was raped. She basically represented rape victims in the book without it happening to her, and the show dudes didnt understand that. It's hard to explain, but there's justification towards being upset about it
