Wun Wun went out like a g.

Turmond with the Rick Grimes jugular bite followed by shanks to the face.

Jon going absolute god mode. Fuck, that scene when he's getting suffocated had me doubting for a second if he was going to make it. Then he crawls on top of the mountain of bodies. So much carnage.

Dragons were badass, that's what we've been waiting for. Gray worm with that clean ass double kill.

Jon pummelling Ramsey's face in. Great way to kill him off by his own hounds.

So much win in that episode.

I hope this director does as many episodes as possible HBO needs to hang on to him. I guess this is the episode they submitted to the Emmys.

Holy shit, best episode ever. All these LONG LONG payoffs, thousands of pages and years of waiting and it's all wrapping up and it's so epicly satisfying. SO GLAD MEREEN IS WRAPPING UP HOLY FUCK, you don't even know. Fucking love this show no matter how much shit I've talked (and likely will continue to talk next season lol). The battle at winterfell was a bit predictable but even knowing Jon had plot armor and Littlefinger was going to swoop in at the last possible second I was still extra into it because of the brutality and carnage and blood, so intense, and the mountain of bodies has always been something I've wanted to see portrayed in a fantasy setting (like they explain after the episode, that was a reality in our American Civil War that's lost on most). They nailed that battle, really raised the bar for movies, tv etc., and i don't think it can ever be beat because of the sheer length and build up for it. Kit Harrington's war face was fucking epic, and the look on his face when coming at Ramsay, damn man, give him a fucking award or something he's amazing, that was stunning

Can't wait for the White Walkers to wreck shit next episode (Episode title is "Winds of Winter"). I'm hoping we see creatures that GRRM teased are up north that haven't been introduced yet

Other thoughts:

Jon better burn all those bodies....

Don't trust littlefinger for one second obviously, and i hope sansa doesn't either. Might try to take winterfell for himself ?

Davos: he might try to kill Melisandre lol

Tyrion: glad political Tyrion is back, lonely desperate for company drunkard 21 questions Tyrion was annoying.

The Spider: can't wait to see who Varys is going to kill. There was a teaser trailer before this season started with his little birds surrounding someone, we've yet to see that... and in the books (there's that sentence again), well let's just say he never left kings landing with Tyrion and did something pretty big there eventually.

I think Tommen is going to die this next episode, somehow some way, and it'll be Cersei's doing like i predicted earlier but people were quick to say was impossible because Cersei would never blahblah. The writing's on the wall Cersei is bat shit crazy and retarded

I think it's fair to say that was the greatest battle scene ever filmed on TV. That was better than most movies as well. That whole sequence with Jon in the middle with horses flying by was done so well. D&D said they wanted to show how badass Jon is with the sword but also show how incredibly lucky it is to survive a battle like that. For example that scene where Jon was stabbing some dude finishing him off and a horsemen is charging after him in the background and then suddenly gets taken out before Jon even turns around and has no idea how close he was to death.
