Ladyboy boxing always gets 1 judge
This is why I hate social media. We can all find something that can make it look like there is huge corruption in the game. Arguing about the scores is just lame now a days. The draw is correct and that's that. Morretti judged this fight for GGG so the investigation on one judge goes out the window. ALL GREAT FIGHTERS HAVE QUESTIONABLE DECISIONS! we can't do shit about it

The thing is though you can go through social media and EVERYONE had GGG winning who is not Golden Boy affiliated:

The only very few people I saw who thought it was a good decision were Golden Boy affiliated and/or hardcore Mexican supporters like Eric Morals (although he's Golden Boy affiliated himself).

If this fight was really close, Canelo would have got the decision, period. Just like against Lara or Trout. The fact that they could only give him a draw says it all (it would have been way too obvious the fix was in).

What fight was you watching? Canelo hit GGG slow ass with any punch he want to at will until he gassed. All i heard about for four years is how much power GGG has, but against good fighters (Jacobs and Canelo) his so called super punching power disappeared.
What are you talking about? In this thread what was I saying? That's it's a 50/50 fight. That Canelo is peaking right now and Golovkin at 35 could have possibly lost a step. I wasn't saying GGG would go in their and whoop his ass, I was expecting a very even fight. I wasn't expecting a one sided fight like what we got, I was surprised in fact that Golovkin [should have] won so clearly.

Canelo and Golovkin have good fucking chin. Isn't that obvious? Golovkin walked through Canelo's biggest punches while Canelo seemed much more bothered by Golovkin's shots imo (which is why he would retreat so frequently and trying to keep GGG off).

I'm not impressive by GGG slow ass jab because that was the only punch he could land until Canelo gassed and GGG still couldnt do shit. Lol
He landed a ton of those "slow ass jabs" so what does that say about Canelo then?

We all knew going into it Canelo was the faster fighter, that was the one thing Canelo had an advantage on.

Why do you think Canelo gassed? Why was he gassed for the entire second half? Because Golovkin FORCED him to fight at a pace that Canelo didn't want, i.e Ring Generalship.

You seem mad and still acting a fuckboy. Please explain to me this great work that GGG put in missing looping hook and throwing a jab, but getting hit with power shots the whole time walking in. The only time GGG cornered Canelo is when Canelo wanted to be cornered and thats a fact. GGG cut off no ring.
Again with the "cutting off the ring". He didn't have yo cutt off the ring when Canelo would only backpedal straight into the ropes. Golovkin was on him like glue for most of the fight. He couldn't do anything to slow Golovkin down.

don't know why GGG didn't go to the body more
Max Kellerman kept saying he was worried it would leave him open to a big counter to the head. I think it was obvious at times when Canelo was backed up on the ropes that's what he was looking for but Golovkin wouldn't give it to him. But yeah with that said I would have liked to see more body work from Triple G. Turns out it wasn't necessary, if he would have had non corrupt judges he would have won clearly.

Shit, even Mayweather has said Golden Boy always pays off judges. 114-114 CJ Ross Mayweather vs Canelo in a fight Floyd absolutely dominated. And the other two judges scored it a close fight as well and Canelo barely did shit in that fight.

In the Canelo vs Cotto fight, one judge scored it 11 rounds to 1 lol. The other two judges had it 118-110 and 117-112.

Austin Trout (open scoring lol) one judge had it 118-109.

I won't even get into the Lara fight other than saying if any fight deserved to be a draw it was the Lara fight.

Canelo ALWAYS has fucked up scores in his favor.

Hell, Adalaide Byrd, the terrible judge who scored it 118-110 for Canelo, has judged several Canelo fights, even the Chavez fight most recently. Sounds like someone is on the payroll.

What's puzzling to me is GGG was eating shots and walking through them like he was the Terminator. It's like when niggas on Dragon Ball do a super move but when the dust clears the villain is standing their smiling. So if he is walking through shots, why not let your hands go when he is in the ropes? Because you don't want to get countered? NIGGA YOU JUST ATE THREE CLEAN SHOTS TO YOUR CHIN.

Dibella? Martinez? Dana? You used these as credible notes? Manny thought he beat Floyd! Morales has nothing really to do with GBP anymore.

Chavez Sr., who views GGG as his "boxing son," had Canelo winning 7-5 rounds. One of the greatest boxers to ever live! Should I ignore his opinion?

Earlier today a bunch of stories were up on the sports websites saying Canelo wouldn't commit to a rematch with GGG and he might not even fight again until next September.
Canelo won't commit to a rematch, but will fight on May and September. I really don't know how the rematch clause works, but GGG's camp is looking to fight in December. Which means they might go over seas to fight Saunders. If that happens, then I don't think the rematch would be mandatory after that. Of course I don't know what the contract states but a rematch will for sure happen with or without that stipulation. Maybe that's the real reason Las Vegas wanted a draw? Because no matter what a rematch would happen next year

Battle logic:

But then it's:
Because I can't argue with someone saying Canelo won, either. A friend told me all GGG did was cut the ring with his jab. He then asked me, "what else did he do?" and compustats do support that. But I felt that in this close fight, Canelo gave up 2 middle rounds to rest, GGG gave none. The fight was too close to be doing that. The decision is correct because I'm not gonna argue to why Canelo won when he did more than just jab a million times over.
