i like #2 more.....it's set up a lot nicer, like a real magazine cover.....reminds me a little of the source's lay out.....

The 1 st one looks more like a flyer than a magazine cover, it's cool but the layout wouldn't work for a magazine. #2 did their homework it looks like a magazine cover. Very professional, but I would have shrunk down the headlines on the right bottom corner so the didn't cover up part of snoops face. It would make the cover look a little less cluttered and give more of a focal point to the composition. Maybe drop down the size of the headlines a little all over the page and have just a few big ones. I choose #2 because it looks more like a magazine cover layout.

swisher took the words right out my mouth,but i gotta add one more thing, on #1 the cut out of the bigger image of snoop is real bad, you can see some blue around parts of his beard and his arm, if that was meant to be there so that you can see where the black on him ends and where it meets the black background then i dont know, but it still doesnt look right, other than that they are both good, but numer 2 looks more like a magazine cover

so my vote goes to #2

The 2nd one is more along the lines of the source like people said & looks more realistic... but umm, the text is on top of snoop's boring ass pic, & that's not good. The first one is more imaginative but i really think the font isnt happening. Nice art on it but it looks more like an album poster. i cant choose between the two.
