I tried that - fuck them both. Thats all I have to say about that. The other company got mad at how much bandwidth I use. Its not unlimited. Shaw doesnt seem to care how much I use, i go over my limit every month. Canada has the worst internet service in the world. Alberta is the worst in canada, i think.

There fuckers just tried to call me into work nope already medicated, not answering, they called two times now right back to back, see that's one of the thing I'm not looking forward to about no home phone and a cellie as my main # "why didn't you answer when we called?" straight up have heard my GM ask other managers that. Can't ask me right now cause you know maybe I'm not home. Even though I am. Doing drugs, fuck your work.

I was going to say they've been doing that but then I just noticed next to where it shows your use out of 250gb it says "Enforcement of the 250GB data consumption threshold is currently suspended. I hardly go over 125-150gb in a month and I download a lot of music, movies/shows/documentaries/live concerts/etc, books, and all that. Streaming really take that much more up? Can't say I really stream anything nolettuce @nolettuce was nice and put me on his Netflix account once and I think I watched one movie on there? lol

Well youtube is pretty encoded so it shouldn't do too much damage, i think people that are just downloading entire seasons of shows and huge blu-ray movies all the time are the people they want to stop. I actually don't know if I'd actually hit 300GB, on my phone the most ive ever hit was like 33GB i think? and that was heavy heavy youtube constantly. I rarely use netflix too maybe a movie every other month and a few episodes of some shows now and then. will be using hboGo when game of thrones starts back up

That said the internet doesn't work like that with their reasoning for why the cap is and I'm 100% against these fucks trying to bleed people of more money with their shady shit.

I will be happy to only have the net with them come around this time next month. I looked into other options but sadly there weren't many and couldn't even come close in what you get & price with Comcast currently.

did you try speaking to their customer retention department? usually they'll try to offer you the new customer deals, i dont know why they wouldn't give them to you centurylink does even though that fucker jason wouldn't let me do it and was a total dick lol

i think i have "Internet Performance Pro"

Nah I haven't called yet but I 100% know they will try to keep me in the triple play package. Every time that shit was about to go up $70 after the yearly agreement I'd call and say I wanted to disconnect everything and they'd put me back in the new customer deal package again lol But that shit is like $135-$140 a month right now (because you know somehow the price fluctuates lol) and dropping down to a smartphone unlimited everything and just the net is gonna be like $90-100 range total so gonna be nice to go nope fuck you this time around.

From what I understand their retention department works on some sort of weird reverse commission base like the more services people give up that the rep you get can't talk you into keeping (in my case that would be two) the less money they make. How fucking shady is that shit lol

that leaf works pretty great, it takes a little to get it in the right spot might take you longer than youd think because you have to have your tv scan through the channels each time you move it, but once you find a good spot its fine. Currently in a spot for 98% signal for channel 13 for seahawks games and the news lol but i get like 70-80% for channel 4 and 5, sometimes if its windy or rainy it'll get digital noise on those channels with lower strengths. but all in all it does exactly what it advertises, you basically get free basic cable

and yeah the comcast dude said "holy shit that looks extremely good" when i had it on channel 13 i dont know if he meant the tv in general or if it was a clearer channel or what
