What!!!!!!!!!!!! What do the haters have to say now???? Sorry for all the haters who ordered that expensive PPV hoping Floyd was lose. Sorry for ya. Floyd "Money" Mayweather is the greatest boxer of all time! He dominated Sugar Shane like he was a sparring partner and Shane is a great fighter himself! Yall really think Pac can beat this man. He is just about unhittable!! I give Mosley props for being the first fighter to remotely hurt Floyd but he wasnt able to capitalize and Floyd showed what kind of chin he got as any other fighter wouldve been knocked out from those Mosley punches. Floyd dominated the fight the rest of the way like the tru brilliant fighter he is! I dont wanna hear jack about Mayweather. Just give the man his props!

On to new things, Manny isnt scared and takes the olympic style test to show he is clean then he will be next to feel the clinic of Mayweather. Its up to him now. I am so glad I get to witness the greatest boxer of all time pound for pound! Haters can continue to hate but thats all it is as Floyd backs up everything he says. I am so excited right now and this had to be said!! Floyd "Money" Mayweather a tru great and be glad u get to witness his greatness! Got Em!!

Chavez was cool but then he had his ass whipped a few times too many
i love how De La Hoya beat the shit out of him and then Chavez would come to the ring with some of his opponents ole butthurt ass bitch. Chavez beat a lot of bums to get that win total to where it is. Mayweather at least hasnt fought a bunch of nonames like Chavez

Hahaha Chavez aint nowhere near the top of list when it comes to all time greats. He did the same shit he has his son doin. Building a great record by beating bums. Not even decent fighters. His son probably wont fight a real fighter until after he wins like 50-60 bouts hahaha. Try again pal. Chavez was good but nowhere near the best. I would rate Trinidad higher than Chavez and thats not necessarily a great thing. Haha! Got Em!!

If floyd can fight 275-300 fights then sure, he can be considered All Time Great. Until then, no.

He beat shane mosley, let's not get ahead of our selves.

Sugar Ray Robinson
Ali
Sugar Ray Leonard
Joe Louis
Henry Armstrong
Marvin Hagler

Just to name a few. At this point Mayweather is top 50 all time greats, maybe top 30 at best. But he doesn't even crack the top 10 (yet). That's not a diss on floyd but his resume does not match up with the best of all time.

Floyd's best win is 38 year old shane mosley. Sugar Ray leonard beat Tommy Hearns, Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran and Wilfred Benitez to name a few. That is legendary. Floyd has more work to do. If he beats Pacquioao, then does something historically amazing, like goes to Middleweight and beats Sergio Martinez (or Paul Williams) for a belt at 160, that would obviously help

I don't think he has to do all that to be considered greatest of all time or mentioned. If/when he fights Pacman and beats Pacman you can really argue that he's the greatest. He's undefeated in over 40 pro fights. He's beaten Zab, Oscar, Shane, Diego Corrales....

Give credit where credit is due. He's the greatest of our generation no doubt.

But 206 you say, top 30 at best? I would say top 5 at best. When you mention the greatest fighters of all time you have to mention Floyd Mayweather period.

This is where you show your true colors, and lack of any basic boxing intelligence.

Look at the fighters you mentioned. Zab Judah? He's not even a top 10 fighter of his generation. Oscar and Shane, both good wins (Shane's is better, IMO), but both on the way out. Diego Corrales, one of my favorite fighters of all time...isn't one of the top 100 fighters of all time.

Top 5? You're on something serious. You have to be putting Ajax, oatmeal, motor oil, fish food, oxycotin, grass fertilizer, Enfamil baby formula, and roofies into a blender, grinding it up, and then injecting it straight into your veins.

Daily.

This is where I came to the conclusion of your bias towards Floyd.

If you say top 5 then this shows your boxing history ignorance. There isn't a single respectable boxing historian that would rank Floyd top 5.

Yes, he has an undefeated resume but so did Joe Calzaghe and you don't see him in the top ten of all time. Zab, Oscar, Shane, Diego Corrales. That is NOTHING compared to what the greatest have done.

And I have been giving floyd his props, I always have, but historically speaking he is not top 10 of all time. Greatest of our time? Maybe. Pernell Whitaker, Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, Evander Holyfield, Pacquioao; they all did some extraordinary things in our time.

It's my opinion. Call it ignorance if you want to.... when/if someone says the best boxer? I have to mention Floyd Mayweather Jr because he can't be beaten. You have to beat the best to be the best.

Floyd is the best of our time period.

everyone can be beat tony, everyone.

Further floyd never fought the level of competition as those guys I mentioned, not even close.

Ask yourself how Floyd would do against Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Marvin Hagler and Roberto Duran. Does he win all those fights tony??
