Floyd wasn't pound 4 pound King when he fought Chico which was 10 years ago that belonged to bernard hopkins (Floyd was #6 at the time).
Hatton was a 140 pounder and marquez was a 135 pounder.
Mosley was a legit 147 pound champ though, so he gets credit there.
So yeah, he fought one legit welterweight in 5 years...

Here's the problem with Marquez. This is the fight I'd want to see most, but for some odd reason, Marquez is demanding 6 million garnette'd in that fight. To put it in perspective, he earned a little more than 3 million to fight Mayweather.
Essentially, he's pricing himself out of the fight. There's no way he's going to get that much money, period. Especially with his last 2 fights attracting a whopping 9,000 fans combined. He's just not a huge draw, so demanding that much money is scoffed at by Top Rank.
Marquez needs to come back to reality, and realize that this is the only fight of this magnitude he's going to get, and even if he settles for half of what he's asking for, that's still much more than he's gonna make fighting guys at 135/140.
