tbh I don't really like playing with companions, they more often then not annoy me other than using them to carry all of my shit.
There will be mods that improve a lot of this shit, like companion death, survival mode, etc so I think I'm going to play the console version now then play all the cool mods on a PC later.

I just quit that thread yesterday that's all. But Mods shouldn't be trolls like that, it's no wonder so many people left the sicc and won't ever come back that type of stuff happens way too much on here which kills the site.

That's what I hope to do in a couple months probably after xmas.
I don't know why people complain about the graphics not being that spectacular since none of the fallout games were ever about amazing graphics. FO3 and New Vegas looked out dated when they released I'm sure, and 1 & 2 were of course isometric view. Really what it boils down to is how fun it is exploring/killing/crafting and storyline.

That's like all of their games. FO3 was a hot mess and New Vegas was Damn near unplayable too and they didn't even make that one lol. Part of the Bethesda charm :cheeky:
It's probably smart to wait a few weeks for the patches but fuck it, I'm going all in on this one probably take a couple days off work.

Because of games like the witcher 3,that have both. Witcher 3 was one of the most amazing games ive ever played. It has so much depth, so muvh detail so much story so much everything. And the graphics.... Wow i can't tell you how many times i was astonished with the graphics. There'd be times id be riding roach through a swamp or through sone trees and the wind would kick up or something, and just the ambience and environment were so polished it was just stunning.
So it's proven you can have it all in one package. I'm not too concerned with it though... FO4 is going to be mod friendly out the gate, and im pretty experienced with modding after heavily modding FO3 and FNV. and ive played 100+ hours each game vanilla, and 50+ each game modded. There's no better hours of gameplay to dollar ratio than FO3 / FNV / Skyrim so im perfectly fine with the graphics

The PC Ultra high settings screenshots were leaked today and that shit looks really fucking good. I don't think the game looks bad on the consoles either, looks dope to me. Sure, Witcher 3 has better graphics in comparison but we don't know if FO4 does better at certain things than Witcher 3 yet, we'll have to see.
Sidenote, I've been playing Witcher 3 and it looks really good and it's impressive...but fuck you really have to channel your inner nerd hardcore to get into it. Fucking mages and elfs and shit lol. The only thing that keeps me going is Big Boss is the main character for some bizarre reason and the combat is really good too even though I still suck at it.

From the leaked videos I've been watching it seems fundamentally the same as FO3 and NV just with improved shooting and graphics. They needed to overhaul that shit it was always pretty poor in that regard, only VATS kinda covered up how poor it was. From what I've seen it seems like it will resemble FO3 more than NV but it's still mainly about exploring, crafting and story at its core.
Some minor differences like they got rid of weapon condition, probably because how deep weapons modding is (how would that even work, each part would degrade? I'm sure it would be a pain in the ass trying to manage if left in).
