The sentry bots are so fucking deadly in this game, probably my favorite remodeling of any of the robots/creatures. They have one weakness too but incredibly hard to exploit. Came across one today, after a few tries just had to go a different direction lol fuck

Another area I came across where you can hack a terminal and let our five protectrons, had them escort me through a little area with an Alpha Deathclaw. Was a dope battle to watch from the sidelines, Deathclaw took out three of them but the protectrons prevailed in the end.

What special do you need to build shit with at the settlement I got armor one and weapons mod
Nothing really, just junk you can find at your settlement. For example some rusty car gives you steel. Broken fence, wood. Concrete blocks, concrete. And so on.

All you have to do is go to a work bench and it puts you in work bench mode or whatever it's called, walk up to something while in this mode and the object will highlight, it will say "press square to craft it" and it automatically put the steel, wood, oil, etc etc into your work bench, so you don't need to worry about your inventory on your person. You probably already have shit in there you don't realize, like wood and steel. While in work bench mode, there's a list of things you can create based on the materials you have. Just select the what you want, whether it's a wall, a floor or some defense like turret machine gun, place it where you want and that's it. It's pretty simple once you do it a few times it just gets more complicated for the more complicated projects, like if you're trying to build a fucking castle with a dick on top that lights up, that's gonna take a lot of work lol. But for everything else it's relatively simple.

I heard if you build a water pump on one side of the map, and another onthe other side, you fast travel to one side, collect 300 purified waters for 40caps value each, fast travel to the other side, 300 waters, just go back and forth and you'll have millions of caps within an hour, you basically don't have to scavenge or loot anything ever just buy it at merchants. The annoying part is waiting for two days for vendors to restock caps

So yeah I just stepped into the satellite spot near the robotics junk yard was not prepared for that
What level you playing on? I didn't realize I had my game set to Hard so upped it to very hard because you run across more legendary enemies therefore you get more legendary loot. God Damn came across a legendary glowing ghoul, with his homies an Alpha roaming ghoul or some shit, with some random ghouls, took me several times just to get through that which normally wouldn't have been a problem. Muh fucker only dropped a legendary leg armor though. I'll probably bump it up to Survival towards the end since usually in Fallout games your character becomes pretty over powered, I remember in Fallout 3 taking out Deathclaws with one or two headshots with the Gaus rifle during the late levels.

I never wear power armor, was never really my style in any of the fallout games but I may need to rethink that, some of these enemies and locations are no joke.

Sidenote, I love how the mini gun just obliterates people, body parts flying all over the place lol.

I left my armor sitting in Sanctuary, I heard fusion cores were rare so I'm just stocking up cores for when I battle a big boss.
If u leave a fusion core in the armor, one of your settlers could equip and use the armor if there is a raid. I don't think it wastes any fuel though when they use it.

I guess I dropped my mini gun along the way. Anyone where I can find another one?
Don't sweat it you'll come access another. I have three mini guns and four fat boys.

Another tip some might not know, if you equip one of your settlers with a gun, give them about 10-15 ammo for that gun. They have infinite ammo then. So at Sanctuary Hills, one of my guards stands there with a mini gun, raiders come and she dumps 1,000+ bullets, never ends haha. Same is true in theory for mini nukes, although it's probably not a good idea to give settlers explosives because they are stupid.

Your companions are stupid too with explosives. I gave Piper some grenades. I walk into a room, there is a single measly, pussy ass rad roach next to me. I'm going to handle the situation with one shot from my pistol, that's all it takes. Next thing I know I hear all of these explosions and while my body is flying in the air, dying, I see Piper chucking grenades at the radroach like I GOT THIS! lol stupid cunt.

Another tip for people who like to do a lot of weapon and armor modding. For weapons, you need a lot of adhesive which you can obviously get from duct tape and various other things. Oil is another one that's heavily required for bigger guns and energy weapons. It can be a pain finding all of the resources some times so just remember you can crop this stuff.

vegetable starch can be used to make 5 adhesive.
Tato + Corn + Mutfruit + Purified Water = 5 Adhesive.

At your settlement, make sure you have some of those crops and settlers working on those crops.

Cutting Fluid can be used for Oil.
Acid (2) + Bone (8) + Purified water (2) + Steel (3) = three cans of oil. This one is a little more difficult since you can only produce water, but bones are easy to find and acid can be found in Abraxo cleaner, anti freeze, Coolant, Boatfly gland, makeshift battery and several other items.
