I guess console players wont really need to worry about any of that though... but that still sucks they'll be playing the game at like 30-60% less speed as everybody else. That's that console "cinematic feel" though, with the bonus of playing the same game for twice as long

damn and i swore that fallout new vegas and fallout 3 on PC took way less time to complete than on the PS3, i thought it was just because of the constant freezing the PS3 had and the constant loading. i didnt realize their game engine performance was directly tied to frame rates. jeez now that i think about it running around was way smoother, melee smoother, shooting faster, everything was way faster, and now it all makes perfect sense

Console (xbone specifically) has been hitting 1 and 0 FPS.

LOL@picking up items even though your hands are right there. This is why many First Person games and "immersion" are a fuckin joke.

lol@Bethesda.

And the hud/user interface looks like shit. WTF? Who plays this shit?
Hasn't it always been that way on fallout? Normally you pick up something it goes into your inventory, which is what you normally would want to do. If you want to fuck around and move an object for whatever reason it's like that (no real purpose in doing so. First time I played I went halfway though the game before I even knew you could move objects, but there isn't any real purpose of moving objects in the game, like ok you can move a bottle from the table to the floor...cool!).

It's a problem in most first person games period. Very few first person titles offer reasonable spatial awareness and item interaction.
