E-40: Grit & Grind

I just started listening to this album again, and I gotta say I love this album. Consistently good throughout the whole thing. The only songs I kind of dislike are Automatic and Rep Yo City, never really felt those songs. My favorites are Whomp Whomp, 'Til The Dawn, and Fallin' Rain, but they are all tight. One of my top 5 E-40 albums of all-time.

i agree with everything u said except for Automatic and Rep Yo City. WTF? my favorite tracks on the album are "my cup" and "lifestyles" but most of the album is cool

really? I thought Breakin News was decent, I even liked his single with Clipse on that one and i usually dont like a lot of the singles from his albums

This was actually in heavy rotation for me round the time it came out. also thought automatic was a very solid track.

breaking news is probably the worst and it still slaps. there are no weak 40 albums IMO... breakin news has gasoline on it, hot, this goes out, breakin news, act a ass,northern califoolya some good shit but overall his weakest work
