That Westside song is alright. But what is that gonna do for the Bay? Not till he puts some of them folks he mentions on his shit will Banner get my props.
well.. actually he doesnt owe the bay anything, cant we just accept a real good shout out, im not sayin its gonna bring the bay (or the west) bac, but thats not his job anyway, lets just be proud that the bays underground is makin enuff noise for a nigga in his postion 2 feel like itll mean sumthin for him to big niggas up in his song.,.
im sure he'll end up fucin wit sum bay niggas..its not that easy to just throw everyone u like on ur record, im sure he got niggas in his hood and mississippi that he aint put on shit yet, and thats where he from..

why is it hot in the bay you ask????

cuz the south is adapting to the new bay sound.
that crunk shit is getting way old so they switched gears and are hitting the mainstream wit fake bay area music. our main concern is that the south is now evolving its game and adapting to whats hot out in the bay right now. those keek type beats wit keek type flows. and voice tone. that new bay sound their catching on quick down south and they are not just putting it on tapes they are making fucking videos.

david banner was 106 and park saying that the guy who did the "wait" beat (dj smurf) was starting a type of music a new crunk called intimate club bangers. the same type of beats and flow style the bay was going to capitilize on. so now if the bay artists blow up it will just be a different version of the south not our own sound.

that should be a bay area artist on there doing a real bay song not a down douth rapper imulating bay style.

the problem is by the time we get enough recognition someone in a higher position caps on it by putting out videos. its like checkers.

What the hell is wrong with us?

If half the artists we love would really grind it out and make smart business decisions on a national then global level we would be in that position. The Wesside song is dope, he dont have to do shit for us at all and he is showing genuine love, it would be different if we were on top and he was gaining something by doin the song. NewsFlash, these labels and most areas outside KC , Portland and Northern Cali dont give a fuck about what music we make at all. So when a nigga like banner or anyone else gives us props and puts artists names out there its a good thing. Think outside the box for a change, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome and thats exactly what the majority of our artists are doing.

BTW, 40 endorses and loves banners westside song.
