No. 9 Brigham Young at TCU

Can it happen? TCU got blown out by Oklahoma, but this is a conference game and BYU doesn’t have home field protection (see UW).

No. 7 Texas Tech at Texas A&M

A & M may stink this year, but many people are not sold on TTU being in the top 10 either, as they had to take Nebraska into OT last week.

No. 21 Wake Forest at Maryland

Bi-polar Maryland will host a questionable WF team that nearly lost to a struggling Clemson team one week ago. The Acc is far from wrapped up, and this would help both teams tremendously with a win.

No. 22 Vanderbilt at No. 10 Georgia

Vandy may be a premature top 25 team, and Georgia may be a premature top 10 team. One will have to fall and the other will have pick themselves up for another round of SEC football the following weekend.

Mississippi at No. 2 Alabama

Miss did it to Florida; can they do it again to Alabama? Bama got leap-frogged by Texas last week, and they can’t be too happy with it.

No. 16 Kansas at No. 4 Oklahoma

Oklahoma will be looking to take out their frustrations from the loss they suffered to Texas last weekend. Some have said that Kansas doesn’t belong in the top 25…this may be a big test for both teams.

No. 12 Ohio State at No. 20 Michigan State

Javon Ringer & Co. hosts the mighty OSU…that doesn’t seem to mighty; on offense that is. OSU has dropped in points the last 3 weeks, scoring only 16 points against Purdue last weekend. Look for Javon to pound on the OSU DL at least 30 times this weekend.

No. 13 LSU at South Carolina

LSU gets drubbed in the swamp last weekend and they now have to go in and face a very stout SC defense who has only given up 30+ points once this season.

No. 17 Virginia Tech at Boston College

This has become somewhat of a small rivalry, as we may be seeing a preview of the ACCCG. BC only has one lose and VT is unbeaten in ACC play. Crane played much better the last 2 weeks and Tyrod has the VT offense actually making plays, but it will be BC’s defense on display: they have the 5th best total defense in the nation.

No. 25 California at Arizona

Cal has snuck back into the top 25 and AZ is looking to do the same. AZ is coming off a tough loss to a much improved Stanford team and Cal just got a bye week. Cal is also the leader in the Pac-10 with a 2-0 record in conference play. Everyone else has at least one loss.

GAME OF THE WEEK

No. 11 Missouri at No. 1 Texas

Texas us fresh off its RRSO victory and is ranked #1 for the first time in 24 years. Mizzou is coming off a tough loss to OK St. and may be lookin for some serious revenge. A two loss Big 12 team still has a shot at the CG, as the Big 12 is top heavy and many teams still must face one another.

^^^ that reminds me of how college football was in the 90's, high ranked teams obliterating unranked teams, i know the Florida schools use to score 70 a lot.
