CHARLIE MANHATTAN - THE MANHATTAN PROJECT 8.5I’ve had the pleasure to know Charlie Manhattan for the past 5 years at least, and let me tell you he has grown to be one of the Bay Area’s most promising rookies. Under the Big Nest of Laidblack Productions Charlie Manhattan’s whole album doesn’t sound like anything I’ve heard before. His lyrics are dope, his songs are crafty, original enough to be his own and make you dance, bob your head, shake your leg, you know-GO! Charlie Manhattan’s big single is Two Occasions featuring Babyface is cool, but my picks would be Traffic featuring Lil Brah, Thinking About You featuring Omari Jelani, and Taxi featuring Calita Talley.
