best one depends on what your gonna use it for. the more space the better....im not up on modding these days but chances are you can store games on the actual PS3 HD and play em right off the system...same thing with movies etc....so fuck it go for the 80GB. I got the 40GB I think? makes no difference to me cause i dont download shit to the ps3.

i was thinking about backwards compatibility, i think the 80 is better for that, 60 is the best for that, but gta 4 freezes on it, so there you have it

I have the 60 and I haven't had any freezing, glitches, pop-ups or anything at all. It could be related to some of the launch 60gb PS3's, however even then there are people saying that it works fine, so it's not exclusive to any particular model as far as I can tell (same with the xbox).

you can actually swap the hard drive and use any size you want but it has to be a specific brand and model tho. so it's up to you if you want to get backwards compatability or you don't really care for ps2 games. 40 gb or any other. does the 20gb play ps2 games? if it does i would look for that shit.

Nobody says the 40 gig plays PS2 games. The 20 Gig and 60 gig have hardware backwards compatability. The 80 gig has Software Backwards compatability. The 40 gig does not.

The 60Gigs version plays it all (PS1, PS2 & PS3 games) because it has the actual hardware built-in to play all the 3 systems, but good luck finding a new one because they don't make them anymore. I personally would probably go with an 80Gigs version, but it uses software emulation to run the previous platforms so it might be glitchy in some games or not run specific games at all. I'm pretty sure Sony releases patches though so the capability to play PS1/PS2 games on the 80Gig is more compatible and reliable. I'm pretty sure the most popular games work and that's what most people have anyways. I have a PS2 Slim so I can personnally careless about backwards compatibiliy. Heck I don't even play my PS1 games anymore, I'm sure once I get a PS3, I'll eventually feel the same for the PS2 games.

Just get the 60GB one.

If you like baseball games, then you'll love MLB 08: The Show. It got great reviews everywhere, better than all the other recent baseball games. Graphics and gameplay are dope.

Of course GTA4 and if you like First Person shooters, then Call of Duty 4 is must.

And also Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming out very soon.

i have a 60 gig and havent had problems with gta4

they havent cracked ps3 yet so u cant burn or dl games yet.

theres no difference in graphics between them. just dont get a 20 gig and ull be fine.

40 60 and 80 all have built in wifi. 40 doesnt have ps2 capable and has a couple less usb ports. not a big deal unless u really care about ps2.
