It's a shame that fights are being called "unifications" with secondary belts. Kameda Vs. McDonnell would be a cool fight if they both win, but Payano has the WBA belt and McDonnell basically has the WBA silver belt or whatever else you want to call it.

Ya that flop was classic.
I was headed to the restroom when I heard the announcer and crowd go crazy. I run back like "what the hell just happened, oh damn, he clocked him after the bell". Then I saw that replay and just busted up laughing.

What's up with DouDou NGumbo (sp?).
That guy was throwing crazy over hand rights, and connecting! Super awkward style.

At Bangkok, Thailand: Osvaldo Novoa vs. Wanheng Menayothin, 12 rounds, for Novoa's WBC strawweight title

Pretty good fight. Novoa makes the 2nd defense of his title since upsetting Zhong in China. He's 14-4-1 coming in against 35-0 Wanheng Menayothin AKA the Thai Duck.

Was a pretty good fight Novoa is a face first, come forward, punch thrower so most fights he's in are entertaining.

2-0-Sixx @2-0-Sixx .. are you watching this NBC Sports card? During the Lepikhin Vs. Junior fight they keep saying Junior is still undefeated cause Savigne failed a drug test after they fought, but I couldn't find anything on that on boxrec still has him as 15-1.

Did you hear anything about Savigne testing dirty after a fight? That's some irresponsible commentating if it's not true which it doesn't seem like it is.

yeah, I certainly didn't hear about any failed drug test until today and what's weird is wh3n I googled it the only mention I can find is in NBCSN promo's for today's card. I haven't found any boxing news sites that announced it and they always do when someone pops dirty, even some local bum in the uk or south Africa or wherever makes news.

Yeah that fight happened in New York too. No way it wouldn't have been announced or an article about it. Especially with all the nonsense Lacy was talking after getting crushed by him, he never once made a mention to Savigne previously testing dirty. I saw the promo when I looked it up on sweetboxing.com but it looked like they just put up the NBC press release for it.
