Froch is a way overated uk bum u seen the way froch throws body shots lmao thatz why he fights out there!!!
Man what is up with people throwing the bum label around to guys that clearly aren't. Go to a local show and watch some of the guys fighting in 4 rounders, or look at some of the cannon fodder for up and coming prospects in early fights, those are bums.

A guy who beats Pascal, Abraham, Taylor, Kessler, Bute etc. is in no possible way imaginable a bum.

Froch isnt a bum but hes not a A fighter either. We seen him get outboxed by Dirrell and Kessler, nevermind getting humiliated by Ward. When he fought Kessler the 2nd time we all know Kessler wasnt the same fighter, looked like an aged fighter which is typical since it was like his 45th professional fight. Pretty sure Jermaine Taylor outboxed him also but ending up getting knocked out in the 12th round by Froch. I give him props though for thing and 1 thing only. He has fought a lot of good fighters.

He's way closer to an A fighter than he is to being a bum fighter that's for sure. Normally people reserve being A fighter for the boxing elite. Granted Froch isn't that, but he's not an easy out for anyone not named Ward and while I thought Dirrell won the fight, it was still close as was the first Kessler fight.

And the first Kessler fight was super close, could have gone either way or a draw. Dirrell would have out boxed most guys, but it appears he quit boxing idk wtf us up with him.

Froch also beat an undefeated Jean Pascal. Yeah, he's not elite but he's obviously one of the better fighters look at his resume. If he sucked he wouldn't have beat those guys, and besides Ward, he was never shut out or dominated. He might not be pretty but his resume proves he's a good fighter.

Froch is an A fighter. He might not be top 10 p4p but he's proven himself. I can't stand the dude but I can't discredit him.
I guess it would depend on your grading of boxers, which I honestly don't even like to do because guys beat fighters out of their class all the time. If I had to grade them an A fighter would be reserved for very special fighters and the B class would be packed with a lot of very solid but just not quite elite guys. Like I said before not everyone is gonna be Floyd, Froch had a spectacular career and tested himself damn near every out.

Even this Groves fight, where he was on the lucky side of a bad stoppage and was clearly losing. He could have moved on and pull the "well I already stopped him" excuse but he got right back in there with him and folded him like a lawn chair.

I didn't watch but it looks like Sturm lost his belt to Sam Soliman in a one sided decision. Soliman already says he wants GGG next so hopefully we are finally done with Sturm holding a MW belt hostage in Germany.
Yeah he did, it was a normal sloppy Soliman fight. Sturm landed the better shots but they were few and far between. Would be good to see a unification fight with Golovkin but that'd really be the only reason I want to see them fight. Soliman would get absolutely demolished and that's if his piss test comes back clean this time.

I wonder who the hell chose Bika and Soliman to be on the Contender. They both have miserable styles for television. The crazy thing is, they're the only 2 still going and they were both kinda veterans going into that season.

That contender seemed setup to reignite Codrington's career after Green beat him half to death in a second. That finale with Bika was as TV friendly as you'll get. Bika has a TV friendly when he's fighting someone that isn't better than him, it's just when he steps up and has to wrestle cause his winging punches aren't doing anything.

After I typed that, I thought of a few fights that were TV friendly. But overall, he just has had so many bad tv fights that I could remember that it's hard to say he's outright good for tv. But you're right, if he's matched evenly (which is hard to do and have it be worthy of television) Bika can be pretty exciting because he's tough as hell and doesn't give up and he's actually a decent puncher.
